Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Cowboy Festival Parade in Omaha, Nebraska (Photo)

On September 28, 2002, the annual Missouri Riverside City Cowboy Festival Parade was held in Omaha, Nebraska. Six media outlets broadcast the parade live.

On the early morning of the parade, Falun Gong practitioners who have been actively in serving the community arrived at the parade site and decorated a float with balloons, a Falun Dafa banner and handmade lotus flowers. The float was beautiful and gave the audience a glimpse of Eastern culture. During the parade, the Falun Dafa float received warm applause from the bystanders. The practitioners continuously demonstrated the Dafa exercises, displaying Falun Gong's harmonious nature and elegance. The host said in jest, "Please do not disturb their peacefulness." Some young children imitated the movements while watching, and some asked for information about Dafa from the practitioners.
