Written by a Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of May 14, 2002, I saw an electric outlet and then the ceiling of the house, where I was residing, suddenly catch on fire. At that point I tried to shut off the power, but had no idea where the fuse box was located. Had I called for help, it would have exposed my and other Falun Dafa practitioners' location, as I was was living with fellow practitioners since being forced to leave home. As the fire was spreading, I scooped up some water to put it out, but then I stopped myself. How could I extinguish electric sparks with water? At that critical juncture, I thought of teacher, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Why don't I ask Teacher for help?" The image of Teacher was right on the table by the wall. I put my two palms together and asked Teacher silently, "Teacher, please help us." When I raised my head, I found the fire had become smaller. I then hit the flames with a broom and put the fire out easily.

I am thankful for teacher's protection. I don't want to imagine what would have happened without Teacher's help. It is important for us to maintain righteous thoughts and righteous minds as practitioners whenever we encounter danger. Likewise it is important for us to keep in mind that we are Falun Dafa practitioners and that Teacher is always with us.
