Story 1

A fellow practitioner was illegally sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. The sentence was changed to serving the term outside of the labor camp with a relative's help. After the practitioner came home, a policeman asked her to go to the police department. The policeman asked if she still practiced Falun Gong. She said, "If I say I do not practice, do you believe it? If I say I still do, you haven't seen it. Why stop practicing?" The policeman demanded, "You have to write a letter to guarantee that you don't practice Falun Gong, put your fingerprint on it, and establish a record." She responded, "I will not write the letter. I haven't done anything against the law, don't bother me." The policeman was furious and yelled, "You are going to go back to the forced labor camp tomorrow." She said, "Your words don't count," and then walked out. The policeman yelled, "Stop!" She called back, "I won't stop!" The practitioner walked home with dignity in the face of three policemen. The political security section head reported the incident to the police department chief right away. The chief responded, "You know she will not write it, why bother to ask her?"

Story 2

Jiang's regime again required Dafa practitioners to register before July 20. Under great pressure, the local police found a few individuals who had already written a "guarantee letter " and the police filled in the forms and put the finger prints on themselves, wrote "guarantee letters," and reported to their superior that the Dafa practitioners in the district were all "reformed." The police commented, "Those Dafa practitioners are very determined, it's no use to ask them. It's a waste of time."
