By A Falun Dafa Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners must apply righteous thoughts when solving problems. They must stand on the basic point of the righteous Fa and completely deny the arrangements by the old forces. Only then will the old forces refrain from persecuting them. I remember that after the evil started to test me I had a "dream". I was flying from a beach to the opposite shore. At the mid point, my body felt very heavy and I noticed an island in the middle of the sea. I landed on it and found myself in a prison. My arms were shackled together with iron chains. At that juncture I spoke to the being that confined me, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. How dare you confine a Falun Dafa practitioner?" At that moment the shackles vanished and I walked out of the door. From that time on, I really sensed the greatness of Falun Dafa practitioners, and realized that they should not be persecuted.

Then, why are some fellow practitioners still being persecuted by the evil?

With respect to the persecution of fellow practitioners by the old forces, I have two points of view. One is that the old forces failed to assume the correct relationship with the Teacher of Falun Dafa, the Fa, and the Falun Dafa practitioners. The other is the problem that in the universal truth, tests are for the consummation of the individual; but for Falun Dafa practitioners there are many facets. No living being can test the Fa, because it is the standard.

When we are immersed in the Fa, persecution will not occur; but when we are confined within the frame of individual practice, there is the concept of the arrangements by the "old forces," which have not been eradicated. Whenever a problem is encountered and the practitioner is not sufficiently clearheaded, that part of him or her that is cultivated is blocked by this concept. At this juncture, the evil will proceed with the persecution. But when a Falun Dafa practitioner makes a clear distinction of his position, the arrangements of the "old forces" are eradicated and the tests imposed by them will no longer be permitted.

In fact, evil also resides in the superficial human concepts of Falun Dafa practitioners. Ideas have been infused in our minds by the old forces. As we use the upright concepts endowed upon us by our Teacher to rectify these warped notions, the evil will self-destruct. Therefore, the persecution suffered by Falun Dafa practitioners is not due to their attachments; it occurs because the evil is embracing its own attachments and plotting its own path to destruction. We must be clear about the fact that the attachments and karma of Falun Dafa practitioners are eliminated as a result of rectifying the Fa and not because of the persecution by the evil [who are operating] under pretext. When we look within ourselves, it is to search our minds for impure thoughts so that we do not conform to the arrangements of the old forces.

The denial of the arrangements of the old forces should not just be through verbal pronouncements, but should include genuinely using righteous thoughts to negate and eliminate those arrangements. To be able to act in this manner, the Fa must always be the first thing we think about. Our every consideration must be for the universe of the future¡ªto save the sentient beings. All personal aspects are no longer significant. When we are truly able to accomplish this, everything related to the old forces will, at a glance, disappear. How can they test us then?
