On the night of December 28th, 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Cui
Dezhen tragically died in Lushang village, Shuiji Township, Laixi City, Shandong
Province. He was only 29 years old.
On the night of December 28th, 2001, Cui Dezhen was found by local
villagers near a power pole at northeast end of the village. He was taken to
Laixi City 2nd People's Hospital, for emergency care and the police
were called. More than ten policemen from Laixi police station and Shuiji local
police station blocked the rescue scene, they did not allow anyone to get close,
and immediately blocked Cui's house. Cui's wife, who is not a practitioner, was
detained by the local police overnight. The local police did not allow her to
see Cui's corpse even when he was cremated.
Later, more facts came to light after breaking through the information
blockade. Vicious authorities had beaten Cui to death. According to the
information provided by people who had seen Cui's corpse: the back Cui's skull
had been crushed inwards, his leg was broken, both hands and his shoulder were
black, on a piece of string around his waist hung truth-clarifying Dafa
material, there was no banner. Cui also only had on one shoe, the other one was
not anywhere to be found, not at the death scene or places nearby.
Recently, the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong with absolute power over each level of administration in
the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] invited some media
from the provinces and cities to investigate and interview in Laixi City. They
forced Cui's family and others to take photos and when pressed for an answer,
they intended to manipulate lies to cover the truth. However, the facts will
certainly come out to prove that dictatorship can't change the facts, and the
lies can't cover up the truth.
