Karmic Retribution for Evil Deeds: Mayor Zhang Jiaguo of Macheng City, Hubei Province is Now in a Coma
(Clearwisdom.net)
[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit
wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely
"following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held
responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]
According to the News report, in February of 2002 the mayor of Macheng City,
Hubei Province, Zhang Jiaguo sustained severe brain damage when something went
wrong with the anesthesia during a simple operation on his vocal cords.
China Central Agency reported this shocking news from Baiguo Town, Macheng
City, Hubei province. On the afternoon of April 18th, 2001, female
Falun Gong practitioner Wang Junhua was beaten to near death by a local
government official. She was then dragged to the front of the local government
building at Jinyuan Square and burned to death. The police falsely told the
bystanders that she immolated herself. At the same time, they were dragging two
other Falun Gong practitioners on the ground with motorcycles. The scene was
ghastly to behold.
We strongly advise the officials who follow Jiang's regime in persecuting
Falun Dafa: Don't throw away your own future due to temporary benefits gained by
doing bad deeds.
