My Experience Of Clarifying the Truth To Chinese Tourists

(Clearwisdom.net) In the recent months we've experienced quite a few moving scenes while clarifying the truth, especially clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists. I deeply feel that having a strong righteous thought and a good demeanor are the most crucial points for success.

Sometimes when I was going to clarify the truth, human thoughts would emerge, and I would hesitate. But then I recalled that Master said, "The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston").

Whenever I recalled the Fa taught by Master I would no longer hesitate to clarify the truth. I know that Master is holding this time for us so that we can work hard to save sentient beings.

Once I distributed truth-clarifying materials to Chinese tourists, and asked them to learn the true facts about Falun Gong, and to remember that Falun Dafa is good! Remember Truth, Compassion and Tolerance. Then I held up a copy of Witness (a truth-clarifying magazine) and turned to the page showing solid evidence of torture, and held it up outside the window so that the tourists inside the bus could see it. I found that the tourists wanted to see more, so I asked the driver to let me on the bus. The driver agreed, I went onto the bus and turned Witness page by page to show the tourists. I told the stories in tears, and all people on the bus listened carefully. I told them that an 8-month-old baby was arrested with his mother because the mother practiced Falun Gong. They were both put into prison and tortured to death. A tourist asked me where they were from, and I told them Shandong Province. A tourist said indignantly, "Take the VCD back to ask Jiang to watch it!" When the bus was leaving, some tourists raised their fingers in the V shape to wish us success!

There was another group of tourists, with a couple walking behind them. The woman quietly told me that she was also practicing Falun Dafa. I said, "That is so nice, did you read Master's new article?" She said yes, and both of us were holding back the tears!

When I was distributing truth-clarifying materials to another group of tourists, one of them who took materials and a VCD said that we were doing well, and encouraged us to strive hard! He repeated it three times, I replied "sure!" I felt that Master was encouraging me through his mouth, and that I should redouble my effort!

Some tourists said, "I support you!" after taking the truth-clarifying material.

Once I showed Witness to a pair of tourists. One told me that two of his relatives were beaten to death for practicing Falun Gong, and another was beaten and his leg was broken. He asked for a copy of Witness.

There are many tourists and guides with righteous thoughts, but there are also many people poisoned by the lies.

Once, a guide approached me saying he did not want our material. Then he pointed his finger right in my face, cursing me fiercely with his fingers almost touching my nose, calling me a traitor to my country, and accusing me of destroying the relationship between China and the US, etc. At the moment my heart was not a bit affected, I only told him that it didn't matter that he scolded me, because we were truly the patriots. Please remember that Falun Dafa is good, remember Truth, Compassion, Forbearance. A thought about Dafa may determine one's future. The tourists were afraid to take the materials, so I told them: "Please remember that Falun Dafa is good, remember Truth, Compassion, Forbearance. I wish all of you a good future!" I also brought out a folding fan imprinted with the words "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," and showed it to them. Some of them read the words. I said it was righteous thoughts once it's read. Some tourists have said some bad words against Dafa, and some guides have tried to drive me away. Sometimes I could not hold my xinxing [mind or heart nature], immediately I realized I should look inside myself--maybe I was not kind enough. I should wear a gentle smile, talk to them with a pure benevolent heart, then the effect would be much better. I deeply feel that we are also cultivating ourselves and improving ourselves during truth-clarification.
