A Practitioner Encourages Canada's Prime Minister to Publicly Condemn the PRC Leader's Persecution of Falun Gong


Dear Prime Minister,

RE: URGENT CALL TO SAVE PEOPLE'S LIVES

I am aware that you will be meeting with the Chinese regime's leader Jiang Zemin at the APEC meeting this weekend. I am writing to call on you to take the initiative, publicly and strongly, to condemn his actions against the innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with believing and following the teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. Either silence or speaking quietly to the Chinese leader will only encourage him to continue his crimes.

While it is important to have trading relationships with China, we must not forget that we have the obligation to ensure that people live with dignity. For the past three years, tens of thousands of Canadians, regardless of their economic, cultural and political backgrounds, have joined Falun Gong practitioners in Canada and worldwide to demand that
the Chinese regime's leader stop his crimes.

Dear Prime Minister, please listen to the voices of the Canadian people. Please answer the call with your conscience. Please take immediate action to help stop the persecution.
