(Clearwisdom.net) Last winter, together with another practitioner, I was distributing truth-clarifying materials on the streets. The vicious police took us to the police station. At that time, I was not afraid at all. As soon as we were taken to the police station, we sat down to send forth righteous thoughts. I thought that since I was so close to the evil, I could send forth righteous thoughts very closely, so as to eliminate the rotten ghouls that damage the Dafa.

Afterwards, the political director came. He fiercely asked our names and where we were from. We refused to cooperate with the evil, and told him, "We are Dafa practitioners. We came from the universe." He said some dirty words, and said, "You are not human." I thought, "We are the disciples of the Master Buddha." After this righteous thought, in the following days of encounters with him, he did not say anything that disrespected us.

The next day, the police started to interrogate us. As I did not realize that I should not cooperate with the evil in any situation, I agreed to talk with them. The fellow practitioner resisted the evil, and told them righteously and sternly, "Don't talk about anything with me. It is unnecessary. Every cell in my body is filled with Dafa." As a result, the criminal police did not talk to her. When the police arraigned me, they pointed to a big pile of Dafa materials on the table, and asked me where these materials were from, and where I was going to send them. I told them with smile, "I cannot tell you, because I must be responsible for Dafa, for myself, and also for you." Helplessly, he shook his head, and said, "I have to forget about it if you don't want to say anything." Then the head of the police station came in. He was very drunk. Seeing that I refused to cooperate with them, he shouted, screamed, and sent forth a stream of verbal abuse. I then silently recited the Fa-rectification formula. I thought that as a disciple of the Master Buddha, how could I allow him to shout and curse here? So I said to him, "You could have spoken calmly. Look at you yourself. It seems you are going to catch the occupational disease!" He looked suddenly surprised and walked away. The police who talked to me said, "I used to speak in the same way as he did. As long as I spoke, it sounded like cursing. Since I started doing this job, through getting in touch with you Falun Gong practitioners, my temper disappeared, and I speak gently now." Hearing this, I thought, "Dafa can truly change a person, and rectify all unrighteous things."

Afterwards, most of the content of their talks with me was related to the brainwashing. I understood that this was directed towards my attachment. I was not afraid of being beaten, or suffering from hardships, but I was indeed afraid of being brainwashed. Therefore, they kept talking to me about the brainwashing. The evil truly sneaked in through the loopholes, and tried to take advantage of our attachments whenever they saw some. I then strengthened my righteous thoughts and got rid of all the thoughts that were unrighteous. Since then, they no longer mentioned to me anything about the brainwashing.

Ever since we were taken to the police station, we were continuously looking for opportunities to escape. However, my leather shoes always made sounds whenever I walked. Later, Master arranged for a kind-hearted person to give me a pair of cotton cloth shoes. I was aware that the opportunity was coming. One day at noon all the police were away. There was only one young policeman watching on us. We kept sending forth righteous thoughts. Soon he fell asleep. We walked by him and left. At that moment, every door of the police station was open for us. We finally escaped from the den of monsters. After this experience, I deeply felt the mighty power of Dafa. When we are doing things righteously, Master is always there to help us. During the two days in the police station, we did not eat or drink, but we always felt full in our stomach. At the crucial moments, we must be unshakeable to firmly maintain the righteous thoughts. We should firmly resist the evil, and treat everything with the righteous thoughts all the time.
