Maintaining Righteous Thoughts and Refusing to Sign Any Form of "Guarantee Letter"

(Clearwisdom.net) Several days ago, my work unit asked my husband (who does not practice Falun Gong) to go to my work unit. He came back with great anger, and I asked him the reason. He said, "Your work unit is asking you to write a guarantee letter [to indicate that the practitioner will stop practicing or renounce Falun Dafa]; otherwise, you have to pay 5000Yuan and attend a re-education class [a brainwashing class]." I told him, "I will never write the guarantee letter, nor pay the money. Neither will I go to the class." Hearing this, he became very angry and he screamed and shouted, "If you do not write one, I will." I told him seriously, "Nobody can make guarantees for me. I am going to see the director and the party secretary in my working unit." So I went to the factory. On the way, I still could not calm my mind. I remembered what Master Li said,

"As a Dafa disciple, everything of yours is formed by Dafa and is the most righteous, and it can only be that [you] rectify everything that is not righteous. How could you bow to the evil? How could you promise something to the evil? Even if it doesn't truly come from your heart, it's still giving in to the evil. This is bad conduct for humans, too, and Gods absolutely would not do such a thing." ("Dafa is Indestructible")

So I silently recited the Fa-rectification formulas to eliminate the evil factors that were interfering with Dafa in other dimensions. I finally felt relaxed and peaceful in my heart.

When I arrived at the director's office, the director, the party secretary, and many others who saw me were all surprised. The director said, "How come you've become so beautiful? You are so healthy and your face is rosy and glowing!" I replied peacefully, "It is because I have been practicing Falun Gong. It is Falun Gong that has made me healthy. You know how I used to be. I was fragile with many illnesses..." Before I could finish my words, the director quickly changed the topic and said, "Let's talk about the business." He said, "This is from the upper management. Whoever is on the city's list must go through certain procedures. We have held up your case for you. You do not need to attend the re-education class or pay any fee. You only need to write a guarantee letter." At that time, while I kept sending forth my righteous thought to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions and their thought of having me write the guarantee letter. I said to him directly, "I won't write the guarantee letter. You will be rewarded for your help in future. Protecting a Dafa practitioner will gain you boundless virtue, while persecuting a Dafa practitioner will make you generate a lot of karma. It is the heavenly law that the good will be rewarded with good and the evil actions meet with evil returns." I was calm and firm while speaking, and I could feel that every word I said had gone into their hearts, because I truly spoke for their benefit and to save them. If they had known this principle and had a correct thought, they would have correctly positioned themselves. Although they were still reluctant to change their attitudes after hearing my words, I could feel that their hearts had been moved.

Whenever they asked me to write the guarantee letter, I would send forth the righteous thought. A moment later, the director said, "You don't need to write the guarantee letter. You only need to write that you will do your work well and will not bring trouble to your managers." I replied, "I have never made trouble for the leaders. I always do my job well. Everyone knows my accomplishments. So why should I have to make such a guarantee?" The director had no way to convince me, so he gave up and said, "Go and discuss it with the secretary." When I met with the secretary, I told him why I did not write the guarantee letter. The secretary said, "The government doesn't allow you to practice, then you should..." I quickly interrupted him and said, "It is not the government that doesn't allow us to practice. It is Jiang who doesn't want us to be good people. He cannot represent the government. Moreover, even if the government says that it is not allowed to do this practice, whether the practice is good or evil is not determined by the government. How can an evil practice that has conformed to the minds of several persons in the government be justified as a righteous one, while a righteous practice that does not please them be considered evil? Besides, I know that many people in the government are also practicing. How can our country fear that there are too many good people?" The secretary also had no way to convince me. At that moment, I thought I should go. Just several minutes later, my cell phone rang, and my colleagues said that the boss came and asked why I had not come to work, and that he also asked me to see him quickly. I thought in my heart, "When we do things right, Master will help us in any situation." I told the secretary, "I have to go. My boss asks me to go back." The secretary said, "Then what do you want me to do? Write a guarantee letter for you?" I replied, "What you will do is out of my control. However, nobody can make guarantees for me."

On the way back, I remembered what Master Li said in "Dafa is Indestructible," "As a Dafa disciple, everything of yours is formed by Dafa and is the most righteous, and it can only be that [you] rectify everything that is not righteous."
