Dafa Practititioners Hold Vigil at the Chinese Embassy in Mexico City on 10/26 and 10/27

Dafa Practitioners from Mexico and five other countries gathered in front of the Chinese embassy to send forth righteous thoughts and hold a peaceful appeal to protest Jiang's campaign of persecution of Falun Gong.

On October 26, from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m., Dafa disciples were practicing exercises, handing out truth clarification flyers and sending forth righteous thoughts on every half hour directly across the street from the Chinese embassy. Pedestrians stopped by to receive our material and ask for information about the practice and our local practice sites. Many vehicles honked their horns to show their concern and support. A local police officer held up two fingers in the "V" peace sign through their car window. There were eight policemen stationed at the embassy and we clarified the truth to each of them. One of them even said he would bring his family to learn Falun Dafa.

Two reporters from Reforma, Mexico's largest newspaper came to hear our story and interviewed Dafa practitioners who then explained more about Falun Dafa and the principles as well as clarified the true facts about the persecution in China.

When the night came, Dafa disciples held a candle light vigil. A line of candles shining thru the translucent lampshade lit up the pink lotus flower. Pedestrians came by to talk with the practitioners holding a peaceful vigil on the street.

Three local boys learned the exercises in front of the candlelight and they brought home our Dafa materials and book marks. Thirty minutes later the three boys came back to join us to send forth righteous thoughts

The following day on October 27, practitioners continued sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese embassy. We also studied Fa and exchanged experiences in between sending forth righteous thoughts. Later in the evening it started to rain, but that did not stop practitioners from sending forth righteous thoughts determinedly no matter what what the conditions were like.
