Two Short Stories: More People Awaken to the Truth

Story One: My mother-in-law is illiterate, but she can always find flaws in TV programs that spread false accusations against Falun Gong. She tells others what she's observed. Once, she met with an older woman, who we call Aunt Liu. Aunt Liu said, "It looked terrible on TV, there were people getting burned and killed." My mother-in-law said, "There are a lot people who practice Falun Gong in our community. You did not see anything like that, did you?" Aunt Liu said, "Right, I did not see or hear anything like that here." My mother-in-law then said, "Let me tell you, it is all fake on TV. My daughter-in-law also practices Falun Gong. They are all good people." Aunt Liu nodded and said, "Yes, it is true."

Story Two: My mother-in-law came across Mr. Gong, an old colleague of hers. He said to her, "What is wrong with society today? They ignore the bad people, the people who steal, cheat and commit fraud, the people who are corrupt and degenerate, but they keep arresting Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners are all good people." My mother-in-law said, "The bad people will not be rewarded with good in the end, just wait and see!" Mr. Gong said again, "The night before last as I walked out my door, I saw a Falun Gong practitioner posting truth-clarifying material on a utility pole. Of course I would not report that to the authorities....doing such a wicked thing would lead to retribution." My mother-in-law said, "Right, the practitioners are letting people know the truth. Only people deceived by the propaganda would want to report the practitioners!"
