Cases of Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net)

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

  • More than 10 members of the "610 Office" of Xunyang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province asked practitioner He Daozhen for the source of her truth-clarifying materials. While the first one was beating her, he suddenly felt a tearing sensation in his stomach and began screaming in pain. The second official then beat her with a wooden stick. Suddenly he was told to go back home immediately because his son had been sent to the emergency room. The rest of the thugs looked at each other and decided to leave.
  • My sister's neighbor works for a bank. He once slandered a Dafa practitioner in the bank and often repeated slanderous propaganda that defamed Dafa to his son. In July of this year, he was fired from his job.
  • Fenghui, a vicious policeman from Fucheng Police Station, Qiongshan city, Hainan Province, persecuted Dafa practitioners viciously. His father, the former Chief of Qiongshan City Sanitation Bureau, his wife and himself all received retribution. His father was dismissed from his post.
  • Pei Fuhai, former head of the Detention Center in Jize County, Hebei Province, routinely tortured Dafa practitioners and handcuffed them behind the back. Recently one inmate in the detention center beat another inmate to death, and Pei was removed from his post. Moreover, Jiao Hongbing, the head of the police substation in Xiaozhai Township of Jize County, along with some other vicious people who have participated the persecution against Dafa practitioners, also received punishment.
  • Zhang Wanmin from the Wenquan government in Xingcheng County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. He was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease this year and needed a complicated surgical procedure to save his life. The operation cost him tens of thousand Yuan. His son was also diagnosed with uremia. Zhang's actions not only brought retribution upon himself but also harmed his family.
  • Si, the former head of the Fantanan Neighborhood Committee in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, was against Falun Gong. One day he saw truth-clarification material posted on a wall. He tore it down while cursing, "Immediate retribution? Let me see how it works!" Soon after, he died from a sudden stroke.
  • Song Liwen from the 3rd community of Tiantai Village in Dehui City, Jilin province was against his wife practicing Falun Gong. He often beat and cursed her. After July 20 1999, he destroyed all the Dafa books at home by burning and tearing them into pieces. He even used some of the books as toilet paper. His actions resulted in extremely great karma. Soon after his misdeeds, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and died 6 months later.
