[Kiamusu, Heilongjiang Province] Dongfeng District Court Plans to Illegally Try Falun Dafa Practitioner Liu Junhua

Kiamusu Dongfeng District Court and the Dongfeng Police Department plan to secretly try practitioner Liu Junhua in the next few days. The Dongfeng district police arrested another practitioner, Wang Zhuang, on the afternoon of September 25.

Wang Yancai from Gongzhulin City, Jilin Province was arrested by the Qingyuan County police while riding on the bus to Qingyuan County. The police tied Wang to an electric chair and took turns torturing him. They brutally beat him, shocked his armpits, and jammed lit cigarettes into his nostrils to "let him smoke." They used up two packages of cigarettes during the torture. Wang's face was badly burned. They also force-fed him alcohol. After a day and a night of torture, Wang was near death when they carried him back to his cell. His body was covered in wounds and his face was disfigured. For five days and nights, Wang did not move at all or drink any water. The inmates in his cell all angrily said, "They (the police) do not have human nature."

The National Day, celebrated October 1, is approaching and all of the police stations and local residential committees have again started to illegally monitor Dafa practitioners.

Around 5 p.m. on September 3, 2002, the police arrested practitioner Liu Wengang and sent him to Weining Forced Labor Camp for brainwashing. Other practitioners including Zhang Guilan (female), Shi Shulan (female), and Cui Bin were also arrested. We do not know their whereabouts.

Police officer Cui Weixin has led other police in arresting practitioners everywhere. When entering practitioners' homes, they first forcefully photograph the practitioners, and then ask for money. The practitioners are forced to become homeless in order to avoid the persecution. Currently officer Cui has already met his retribution; yet he does not regret his actions. In Benxi, the police force practitioners to be registered, have their fingerprints taken, and hand in pictures of themselves. Then they arrest the registered practitioners.

At the end of September, the Haidian Police Branch "610 office" rampantly arrested practitioners. One Dafa material site was destroyed and several practitioners were arrested.

On the evening of July 20, 2002, the head of the Police Station in the Town of Gangyao, Longtan district, Jilin City, led a team of three police to drive around and arrest practitioners. Around 9:30 p.m., they came to Li Cuiling's home. Seeing that the gate was locked, they jumped over a wall and into the courtyard. Breaking into the house, they violently pushed Li to the floor, put handcuffs on her, and forcefully arrested her.

The next day, they sent Li to Jilin City Third Detention Center. In order to protest the persecution, Li began a hunger strike on July 20. She has gone without food or water for over 40 days. However, instead of releasing her, they illegally sentenced Li to one year in Changchun Heizuizi Female Labor Camp.

The police broke into Li Xianrong's home at Chunjiang Wei (WeiZu), Qixin St., Huadian City. Li's 80-year-old mother asked, "Why do you arrest my son? What kind of crime has he committed? He just wants to be a good person and to have a healthy body. How does that make him guilty? You even sent more than ten people to arrest my son!" However, the police knocked her to the ground and she lost consciousness. Upon waking up, she found that her son was gone. She suffered a broken foot, which is severely swollen, and she cannot walk. Li is currently at Huadian Detention Center.

According to a reliable source, in order to further persecute Falun Gong, Jiang is expanding China's police force despite the fact that the police and plainclothes officers already fill the streets. In Jilin Province, Changchun City recently added 100 police officers and Jilin City added 50.

The evil force has adopted a new persecution method: the police are driving taxis, especially at night. Recently, some practitioners took taxis and then have been missing in Changchun. Moreover, the local residential offices and local police stations assigned people to monitor the streets at night in order to arrest practitioners who post Dafa materials.

Dafa materials appeared in many places in Guilin, including the Workers' Cultural Palace, Gaoxin district, Guangxi Normal University, Guilin Electronic Industry Institute, Liuhe Lu, Qixin district. The Guilin Electronic Industry Institute held a "signature collection" activity to persecute Dafa.

Recently, the police arrested several practitioners including Xiao Yan, Zhao Guoping (female), and Feng Yayun (female).

Xianyao "610" Offices illegally held brainwashing sessions again. They recently arrested several practitioners. Fearing their behavior would be exposed, they moved the brainwashing center to the distant town of Magang.

Around September 18, the police destroyed a newly built Dafa material producing site in Xiantao City and illegally arrested a Dafa practitioner from Wuhan. This practitioner had been using a cellular phone to contact other practitioners in Wuhan and was tracked down by the police from Wuhan.

On August 24, 2002, several dozen police from the Haidong District Police Department "610" Office and the county's police department broke into practitioner Li Chongfeng's house and forced Li's father to phone Li in order to arrest him. Li did not go home after receiving the call. However, he was later arrested, sent to the county's police department, where he was illegally interrogated and tortured. Inmates are now torturing Li after they were instigated by the police in a detention center.

Around 6 p.m. on August 24, another group of ten police searched female practitioner Qu Shuyun's home. They even wanted to detain her daughter. After a thorough two-hour search, they took Qu to the county police department for a day and a night. The police are in a fury recently since the county's cable TV broadcast a Falun Dafa film on August 18. The details about other practitioners' arrests are not available.

The criminals in Minhe County:

Ma Shengqing, the chief of security section of the county's police department and Wang Youlin, the head of Shina Police Station are extremely evil in persecuting practitioners.

Zhang Xiaohuan, the political instructor in the security section, and other people from the county's police department are also malicious.

1. Near the end of August, people from the Hanshui Street Office broke into Liu Guofen's house and forcefully arrested her despite the fact that her husband was away on a business trip and she has a daughter at home with no one else to care for her.

2. Since Minghui.net reported the arrest of female practitioner Zhao Nianzhen on September 8, the evil people have been trying to find the people that leaked the information and are strictly monitoring the several entrances to her street.

Recently, a director made a film that was full of lies slandering Falun Gong. The work units and companies were ordered to organize viewing sessions. Many employees found excuses to avoid watching the film. Righteous people also defaced the poster at the entrance to the theater. In order to increase the number of attendees, the evil people also went to every school to solicit the students. They did not even spare the pre-school children. They charged four Yuan [Chinese currency] per child and enticed the children by telling them, "You will be given a yogurt and a ham sandwich if you watch the movie."
