(Clearwisdom.Net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Zhou Aijun has been the Secretary of Political and Legal Committee of "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] of Chaoping Township. On September 9, 2002, he commandeered a truck to arrest a practitioner. While driving the truck to Section Four of Baiyun Village of Chaoping Township, Zhang Wei drove over a stone that ricocheted into the truck striking Zhou in the head. Zhou was immediately taken to the hospital emergency. But all efforts to save him failed and on September 10, 2002, he died from his injury.

Zhao Diancheng is the Chief Officer of National Security Section of Julu County Public Security Bureau, Hebei Province. He has been in charge of persecuting Falun Gong and has often illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners. He is responsible for two practitioners being sent to the Handan Forced Labor Camp. On June 21, 2001, he led three policemen to Songjiazhuang to arrest practitioners. During their illegal search of practitioners' homes they found Teacher's pictures. They then took those pictures to the trunk of the police car and also slandered Teacher Li. When they started the car, the tires were all flat. In October 2001, when Zhao was driving a car he lost control when the brakes failed. The car rolled and he broke his leg in the accident.

A practitioner in Xingtai in Hebei Province was distributing truth-clarifying materials when the Secretary of the village found him and reported him to the local police.

In the winter of 2001, the secretary suffered from a gastric disease and heart attacks. Oftentimes he lay in bed unable to move and he felt as if his entire body was on fire. His arms and legs ached so much he was unable to walk. He had visited many doctors and taken lots of medicine. But he had no relief. He then made an inquiry of a person whose 'celestial eye' was opened. He was told that taking medicine could not cure his illnesses because he had offended God and was rewarded with such karmic retribution.
