Houston: More Coverage of Peaceful Appeals Held by Falun Dafa Practitioners (Photos)

At Ellington Field Airport

On October 23, over 500 Falun Gong practitioners went to the Ellington Field Airport in Houston. The dark cloudy sky did not affect practitioners at all. Practitioners displayed more than 100 Falun Dafa banners along the yellow cordon set up by the American police. On the grass a block away, a "welcoming team" composed of a few dozen people awaited. Beginning an hour before the visiting Chinese dictator's plane landed at the airport, dark and dense clouds rapidly approached the airport. At the same time, unusual wind suddenly blew and it started raining hard. As the plane approached closer and closer, the wind and rain became harder and harder. Practitioners were steadfast. They continuously sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the corrupted substances in other dimensions.

At NASA

On the afternoon of October 24, 2002, Falun Gong practitioners from different countries traveled thousands of miles at their own expense to come to Texas. They held a peaceful appeal on the road in front of NASA. Falun Gong practitioners dressed in yellow shirts could be seen all over the lawn. Some silently sat, some stood holding Dafa banners. The atmosphere was solemn and peaceful.

The "welcoming team" dragged in by the Chinese Consulate were not in the mood to wait for whom they were supposed to welcome. They sat down under the bridge to take a rest. What greeted their eyes was Falun Gong practitioners' performance of the 5 sets of elegant exercises. This was a rare chance for these precious Chinese people to learn about Falun Gong from a positive side.
