(Clearwisdom.net) The authorities have been severely persecuting Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shufen (female, 28 years old) from the Ranghulu District in Daqing City. After she went from place to place for nearly one year to avoid illegal arrest, police officers from Ranghulu District kidnapped her in May 2002 and illegally detained her in the Daqing City Detention Center. Since she arrived there, Liu went on a hunger strike and her body became extremely weak. Her parents had made several requests to the District Police Department for her release. The authorities not only refused to release her, but also illegally sentenced her in secret to an 11-year prison term on September 16 at the District Court. Political and Security Chief Kang Wenfeng robbed Liu of 1,200 Yuan at the time of kidnapping and claimed her money as his own (the average monthly income in urban areas of China is about 500 Yuan; in rural areas only about 200 Yuan).

Pan Qiongju kidnapped, Husband sentenced to forced labor for three years

Police personnel kidnapped Dafa practitioner Pan Qiongju from Linyuan, Daqing City. The officers were from the Honggang District, Daqing City. It is unknown where she is being detained. These thugs also ransacked her home for two hours. Her husband, Huang Yazhong, was also kidnapped and illegally sentenced to forced labor for three years. Presently, he is imprisoned in the Daqing City Forced Labor Camp.

Qu Yanlai kidnapped and severely tortured

Local police kidnapped Daqing Dafa practitioner Qu Yanlai on September 27, 2002 at his residence in Shanghai. He suffered from severe tortures during interrogation. Right now, he cannot even stand up. However, this Dafa practitioner firmly maintains his righteous belief in Dafa and refuses to compromise with the evil persecution. We ask our fellow practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil from other dimensions behind the persecution.

Dafa practitioner Sun Yanfeng from the Honggang District in Daqing City protests persecution with a hunger strike and goes home with dignity

Dafa practitioner Sun Yanfeng often refused to open the door for the police who went to his home to harass him. The police abducted him from his work in early October. They took away his keys and ransacked his home. The police found some Dafa books, so they detained him in the Honggang District Detention Center. He then went on a hunger strike in protest. After 15 days, he was released and returned home with dignity.

Daqing City Linyuan Police Department authorities persecute Dafa practitioner Zhan Yinge and his family

Daqing City's Linyuan Police Department personnel plotted to kidnap Zhan Yinge. They surrounded him at his son's empty home, a house with no utilities or food. They watched this house day and night for over ten days. Zhan Yinge eventually used righteous thoughts to break away from the evil's trap. To avoid illegal imprisonment, he has become homeless and destitute. The police could not find Zhan Yinge, so they kidnapped his wife on October 24. It is not yet known where she has been detained

Lawless personnel from the Daqing Petroleum Management Bureau plan to hold a brainwashing session

It is said that the authorities at Daqing Petroleum Management Bureau are planning to hold a brainwashing session at Hongweixing in Ranghulu District, Daqing City. In order to brainwash a group of practitioners together, they already have the rooms ready. We hope that Dafa practitioners will send forth righteous thoughts to foil this evil plot.

Possible police kidnapping of three female practitioners from Daqing City

On October 8, three practitioners from Daqing who have become homeless and destitute to avoid illegal arrest disappeared after they went out. They have not been heard from since. It is likely that the police have kidnapped them. We hope that Dafa practitioners will send forth righteous thoughts to help them.
