(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Li is a resident in a small village of Pingshan Town in Acheng City of Heilongjiang Province. His wife is a Dafa disciple. Li supports his wife's practice. He also occasionally reads Dafa books as well as truth clarification material. One day during September of 2002, when Li was riding a bike on his way back home, he came across a huge pile of sand on the road. He felt a force from somewhere stopping his bike. At that exact moment, a big construction truck passed by his side going very fast. Later on Li had told me, "My bike has a manual brake, but since my hands didn't move at all, it wasn't me that stopped the bike. The truck rushing past was quite frightening! It was Master Li who saved me." This is an example of how a person can benefit their family by practicing Falun Dafa. Be kind to Dafa and be rewarded with good!

Wang is a resident in a small village of Pingshan Town in Acheng City of Heilongjiang Province. He used land around a Dafa disciple's house for his own interests. The Dafa disciple peacefully pointed this out, kindly asking him to stop doing so, but he would not listen. Wang went on to turn the Dafa disciple in to the police, calling the police to come over to arrest the Dafa disciple. In the presence of police, Wang's son attempted to beat the Dafa disciple's husband, but failed. In spite, Wang's son broke a window in the Dafa disciple's house. Recently Wang's son was detained by police for causing a car accident. People who knew about what happened said, "It seems one cannot persecute Falun Gong, since doing bad deeds will receive retribution."

A lady in Jilin City, Jilin Province followed the evil's orders in damaging and removing Dafa posters and words that clarified the truth. She said that she did it to prepare for an inspection from an official from the provincial "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems). That day, right after she went back, she became severely ill. Later, when she explained about what happened to her, she often added a comment saying, "Was I receiving retribution for tearing down Dafa material?"
