Practitioner Li Baojie Kidnapped and Detained in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province; Police Deny Visitation to Her Family Members

Dafa Practitioner Li Baojie was kidnapped by the police at Shenyang Railway Station on October 21, 2002. Police found a CD and an electronic book on her. During the unlawful interrogation, she resisted the evil and went on a hunger strike to protest. She also refused to reveal her name and address. Later, she was illegally detained at Heping Detention Center in Shenyang City. On November 3, 2002, she was transferred to Shenyang City Detention Center. The police planned to continue illegal interrogation and sentencing. When her family members went to see her, the police refused permission for the visit. Later on, the family members asked to see her through the closed circuit TV. This request was also refused for fear that they could see her being persecuted.

We hope the Dafa practitioners who learn of this can send forth righteous thoughts to help our virtuous and innocent female practitioner get out of the evil den.

She has already been on a hunger strike and without water for 17 days. Since the detention center blocks off all out-going information, her latest situation is unknown.

We call for all kind-hearted people in the world to lend their support to Dafa practitioners. We want to have an environment to practice Falun Gong without being harassed, and to show the world that we are good people. However, we are being detained and sentenced without due process of law. We also hope that kind-hearted people will extend a helping hand to Li Baojie, and use their righteous voice to condemn the persecution of fine people by the corrupt regime in China.
