We went to clarify the truth in the countryside and met a farmer. When we gave him a truth clarification leaflet, he immediately said, "I know what Falun Gong says is true. The report on television is fake." He then went on to tell us that he was in Tiananmen Square on the day of the self-immolation and had witnessed it. He said that everything looked prepared, like a play. When we asked him to tell the others in the village about what he saw, he agreed to do so.

A practitioner went to a village to clarify the truth, but the village Party Secretary did not allow her to leave and wanted to report her to the police. This practitioner was a bit nervous, so she left behind some truth clarification material and quickly left. A month later, as this practitioner was passing the village, she met this Party Secretary by coincidence. He called to her and asked her for a truth clarification VCD.

I went to another village to clarify the truth and parked my motorbike in front of a house. When I returned, I saw a crowd gathered in front of the door. One villager said, "This is the village secretary's home. I don't think you will be able to leave." I smiled and said, "My purpose is to find the village secretary and clarify the truth." The secretary said, "Give me a VCD to watch." When others saw that the Party Secretary wanted a VCD, they all wanted one as well.

One villager described a "strange" personal experience: he and a few other villagers went to tour Tiananmen Square and were mistakenly arrested by police as Falun Gong practitioners. They were taken to the Qianmen Detention Center. The other villagers yelled out that they were not Falun Gong practitioners, so they were immediately released. This villager said, "I wanted to see what exactly these police do and why they are so scared of Falun Gong practitioners who are all good people. I wondered what exactly these police would do to me, thinking I was a Falun Gong practitioner." So, this practitioner was able to witness distinct differences between compassion and injustice. In the end, when he stated that he was not a Falun Gong practitioner, the police still refused to release him. Later, he was released after confirmation from a Beijing relative. In order to understand Falun Gong more, he immediately went home, found a local practitioner and started to read Zhuan Falun.

As I was clarifying the truth during a class, one student asked me, "Have you ever seen your Teacher?" I replied, "No, I haven't but I know that our Teacher tells us to follow Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, and I know that there is nothing wrong with that." A round of applause sounded throughout the classroom. A few male students carried their chairs up to the front. One of them urged me to sit down, saying, "Teacher, please take a seat. We want to be good people as well. When can you start to teach us Falun Gong?"

Today I met a journalist by chance and started to tell him about Falun Gong. He raised a few questions, so I started to clarify the truth in depth. In the end he said, "So this is what is going on! I knew that Falun Gong practitioners would not go and kill people and commit arson." Before he left, he gave me his business card and told me he wanted to talk more with me later.

Six plainclothes police officers charged into Hebei Province practitioner Ren's house and forced him into their car. Fellow villagers would not allow them to arrest good people at will. The police knew that they had no reason to arrest Ren, so they left. The next day, more than 40 vicious police officers arrived at Ren's house, but Ren and his family had already been relocated to a safe place by the villagers who already knew about the truth of Falun Gong.

One practitioner was clarifying the truth to a self-employed lady, who happily took some truth-clarifying materials. In less than a week, she met this practitioner again and said, "Those materials you gave me were excellent! My long-term toothache and backache are both healed. I called out on the streets, 'Who says Falun Gong is not good? It is very good!'" She said that she gave the materials to her friends. They all agree with her that Falun Gong is good.
