Ten-year-old Twin Brothers Happily Learn Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) A pair of ten year-old twin brothers live in a small mountain village, where they attend third grade in the elementary school. During the summer break, they stayed close to home with their mother.

One day, their mother's brother and I, Dafa practitioners, went to visit their home. The twins and their mother were very happy to see us. We played a VCD for them that reveals the truth about Dafa and the persecution. When we sent forth righteous thoughts, the twins followed us, and they crossed their legs and held their right palms erect.

When their uncle was reading Zhuan Falun, they also picked up the book. Once when they opened the book, the page was "The Issue of Killing" in Lecture Seven. They read this section loudly. After reading only several paragraphs, Dashuang, the elder of the twins, suddenly put down the book and took out a dragonfly that they had caught and put in a box. He wanted to set it free. Noticing this, Xiaoshuang, the younger one of the twins, was reluctant to let it go. Dashuang said, "Master Li said in the book that all creatures and plants have lives, so it is a life!" Eventually, Xiaoshuang agreed and they happily set the dragonfly free, which they had caught with much difficulty. Right after this, they went outside. After a while they returned, sweating heavily. They told us that they returned the tomatoes that they had stolen from a neighbor's field and they also expressed that they would not do these kind of bad deeds anymore.

In the past, Xiaoshuang often initiated mischief against Dashuang, and Dashuang would not give any ground. Today however, when Xiaoshuang hit or pulled him, Dashuang would not hit back. I saw Xiaoshuang almost pull Dashuang off the bed, but Dashuang did not get angry. Their mother also felt it was strange and wondered why Dashuang suddenly became so yielding to his brother. I told her, "This is the power of 'Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance.' Falun Dafa is righteous cultivation way and can directly change people's hearts. Dafa has supernormal powers and can make people become kind and compassionate. It is because Dafa is so good that so many people in the world are learning this practice." Their mother repeatedly nodded her head.

I told the twin brothers many stories of young Dafa practitioners. They listened attentively and repeatedly expressed that they also wanted to start cultivation. Dashuang asked me, "Grandma, I want to cultivate. Can I live to be one hundred years old?" I said to him, "I understand that Falun Dafa is a righteous way of cultivation and also a genuine cultivation of both body and mind. A cultivator who has assimilated to "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance," the characteristic of the universe, will live as long as the universe." He paid great attention, listening to my words. At the same time he repeated, "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." The look on his face reflected his gratitude for being able to learn such a good practice. Looking at his innocent smiling face, I again felt the great benevolence of Master Li.

I taught the twin brothers the exercises and their mother also came to learn the practice. So in less than one hour, they had learned all five sets of the exercises.

In the evening, the twin brothers insisted on sleeping in the same room with me and wanted me to tell them more cultivation stories. By 6:00 a.m. the following morning, Xiaoshuang was already out of bed. He was very reluctant to see us leave. I said to him, "Be a genuine young Dafa practitioner and spend more time reading Zhuan Falun."

There are a lot of people in the world longing to learn Dafa. As Dafa practitioners, we have no excuse to not hurry up and tell them about Dafa and the persecution. Let's cherish this opportunity, hurry up, and do even better! No matter how difficult it is, we should do well and be worthy of Master's benevolence and salvation.
