(Clearwisdom.net) There is an old saying among everyday people, which I think is very reasonable: "Those who intentionally fabricate un-truthful propaganda to hurt others are most afraid that people will see through their lies after finding out the truth; those who are defamed in the fabricated propaganda are most afraid that people do not care about the true story of the propaganda." This idea is very simple--if people understand the facts of the propaganda, then false rumors will be eliminated. If people do not understand the truth, then the propaganda will trick those who do not think much about it.

This means that the more people are willing to investigate the truth of Falun Gong, the easier it will be to clarify the truth to people. Some people are influenced by the evil propaganda and use a prejudiced attitude to read Falun Gong books or materials; but as long as they still have a righteous conscience, they will have the opportunity to position themselves for a bright future.

Each time when Jiang's regime launches a new campaign to defame Falun Gong, Falun Gong will receive much more attention from overseas media, which provides us with a very good opportunity to clarify the truth thoroughly. For example, when some overseas Chinese media that are under control of the Jiang regime were sued by Falun Gong practitioners for publishing articles slanderous to Falun Gong, their lawyers would have to study Falun Gong books and truth clarifying materials in order to try the case. Under normal circumstance these lawyers probably would not look into Falun Gong materials. Even neutral law officers and administrators may also study and try to understand Falun Gong due to their work requirements, whereas in an ordinary situation, they would not pay attention to truth clarifying materials. This tells us that sometimes, a process is more important than the outcome. Because a lawsuit draws people's attention, it can be a very effective method for clarifying the truth since lots of media will report on the event.

Jiang's regime is thus faced with a dilemma. On the one hand, in order to justify the persecution of Falun Gong and to gain support from the international community on this issue, it has used every possible means to defame Falun Gong, while worrying their fabricated stories about Falun Gong were not horrifying enough. On the other hand, their excessive and continuous attacks on Falun Gong have drawn much attention from Western society and many countries have started to pay attention to the Falun Gong issue. At the beginning, some of the reports about Falun Gong appearing on Western media were negative or even hostile, but the majority of Western countries are fair, democratic, and governed by the rule of law. After understanding the truth about Falun Gong, most people in the West started to support Falun Gong, or at least they no longer helped to spread the false propaganda cooked up by Jiang's regime. The results are totally opposite of the Jiang regime's original intention. Therefore, in the end, it is the Jiang regime that destroys its own reputation with its fabricated propaganda.

If people pay attention, they can easily find out how self-contradictory the false propaganda is. Jiang's regime has been fabricating stories to discredit Falun Gong over the past 3 years; however, none of these stories can withstand the close scrutiny.

For example, in order to distract the world-wide focus, Jiang's regime lied to say that there were only 20 million people practicing Falun Gong in China. Furthermore, in order to show how correct its decision to persecute Falun Gong was and how the Chinese people supported its decision, the Jiang regime claimed shortly after the ban of Falun Gong that ninety-eight percent of practitioners had given up the practice and that they had won the "battle" with Falun Gong. Therefore, we can conclude that the so-called dreadful events such as "suicide," "self-immolation," and the "killings" as claimed by the Jiang regime were all done by a small percentage of people - those "forty thousand" practitioners who refused to give up the practice.

The strange thing, however, is that in Taiwan alone there are more than one hundred thousand people practicing Falun Gong. The numbers are even greater if we include all practitioners around the world. Why have there not been any criminal cases related to Falun Gong practitioners in all the countries outside of China? These people live in democratic countries, which can perform fair investigations. So why are there no media reports about bad behavior of practitioners in Western countries? In actuality, all of the heart-breaking, shocking and evil events have all happened in China, where the media is under tight control and third parties are not allowed to perform fair investigations.

In the past three years, all kinds of slander, and public criticism have blanketed China. Everywhere in China, from train stations, harbors, places of public transportation, to the work places, everyone is being forced to take a stand against Falun Gong. The campaign against Falun Gong has cost a huge amount of the nation's resources. Isn't it ridiculous that Jiang's regime utilizes all the national resources just to deal with the forty thousand people whom they claim to be still practicing Falun Gong?

It is very obvious that the Jiang regime is at its wits' end. The regime's own contradicting, fabricated stories are exposing its own lies and hypocrisy.
