Karmic Retribution: Corrupt Officials in Hebei and Liaoning Provinces Suffer for their Misdeeds

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Examples of retribution in Wanquan County, Hebei Province

Zhang Bin, head of the Armed Forces Department in the Economics & Trade Committee, Wanquan County, Hebei Province, was killed in an accident while riding his motorcycle one day in October 2001. He was making a phone call on his motorcycle, when he was knocked down by a car behind him. He died instantly. This man once persecuted the Dafa practitioners in the units affiliated with Economics & Trade Committee by means of fines, deprivation of job and salary, harassment, etc.

Ren Jianyi, the former director of the Economics & Trade Committee, also persecuted Dafa practitioners with various means. He is retired and now suffers from cancer.

Wang Ming, secretary of Dongbei Street Committee Office, spared no effort to persecute Dafa practitioners, and took the lead in ransacking the practitioners' homes, imposing fines and applying psychological torture on practitioners. In the spring of 2001, he suddenly suffered a stroke and was paralyzed. So far he has not been able to take care of himself.

A resident of Wanquan County surnamed Yan was hired to deface truth-clarifying signs posted by Dafa practitioners. A few days later he fell and hurt one of his arms. For months he was not able to work.

Wen Fu, secretary of Xibei Street Committee Office, commanded others to illegally ransack the homes of Dafa practitioners and imposed heavy fines on them. In the summer of 2001, several of his fingers were broken by an electric fan. He is still participating in the persecution.

Example of retribution in Daqing Oil Administration Bureau, Liaoning Province

The heads of one team in the Oil Field Operation Company intended to kidnap some Dafa practitioners and take them to a brainwashing class. On the way to arrest Dafa practitioners, their vehicle turned over, and the vice head was killed.
