My Experience Getting Out of A Difficult Situation With Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 7 am on September 12, 2002, when I went to meet someone, two policemen who were waiting there kidnapped me and took me to the police station (two fellow practitioners had been previously arrested there). On the way, I called aloud, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!" in order to awaken people and save sentient beings.

When the vicious people are persecuting us, our main consciousness should be clear. With strong righteous thoughts, we should completely oppose any arrangements of the evil old forces. I began reciting articles from Essentials for Further Advancement or Hongyin such as "The Knowing Heart," "Assisting the Fa," "Non-existence," "Hurry Up And Tell Them," etc, nonstop. While facing evil people, we recited the Fa-rectifying formulas. In this way, it was easier for us to bear the pain during the torture. In fact, since we stand on the basis of the Fa, Teacher is also helping us, so the evil will be suppressed.

When a policeman was using me as a target for him to practice boxing, it was not very painful. However, the policeman yelled out the next day, saying that his wrists were hurting. Another time, a policeman shocked me with a 10,000 volt electric baton. Since it was too painful for me to bear, I called aloud, "Master, Master!" Immediately, the policeman stopped and ran out, seemingly because of a stomachache. All these policemen were receiving retribution for their numerous bad deeds.

"When the evil was beating them they forgot that they were Dafa disciples, and they didn't think, 'I'll ask Master to help me.' Or, when some people did ask Master for help, they had a strong attachment of fear." "When you conduct yourselves righteously Master can do anything for you. If your righteous thoughts are truly strong, if you're able to put aside the thought of life and death, and if you're solid and unshakable like a diamond, then those evil beings won't dare to touch you" (Touring North America to Teach the Fa, unofficial translation).

As I was held there, I understood that it was not a place that a Dafa disciple should stay, and I needed to get out to assist in Teacher's Fa-rectification. A policeman asked me, "You cannot get out once you come in here. You will be sent to the labor camp unless you work for us. If your Teacher is so capable, why would he not get you out of here?" I said, "It is impossible for me to betray Teacher and work for you. The time has not come yet for Master to save me."

On the third day, the policeman said, "You can have a break now." I had been fixed to the iron chair with hands cuffed, feet chained and immobilized for three consecutive days. As a result, my legs and feet were numb, my bottom was painful, and I had injuries all over my body. Having a break would make it easier for me to get out later. On the way to the bathroom, I had been observing the surrounding environment and how to escape. The place I was kept was close to the back wall, and there was a trellis there. But the wall was very high, and there was an Alsatian dog in the dog house, which I feared might attack me.

I was thinking about making the policemen go outside to talk (normally the policemen who kept an eye on me sat in the room and talked). Soon afterwards, they took their chairs outside. Then, a policeman came and said, "That dog is really nice. It wouldn't bark even if you beat it." Another one said, "Let me go and take a look." After coming back, he said, "The dog is indeed very nice. I even put my hand into its mouth, and it did not bite." After that, all my concerns were gone.

That evening, after the policemen tortured me for several hours, they tried to attach my hands to the iron chair arms. They had difficulty, although they finally managed to do it. I realized it was time to leave. I then sent forth righteous thoughts to have them go to sleep. After a while, there were no more voices, so I got out of the handcuffs and the iron rings that chained my feet. I turned around and got my legs out. Then, I moved the chair to the wall, and went out over the wall. Thus, I got out of there and rejoined the current of Fa-rectification.

In "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference," Teacher said,

"To do well is to not walk down the path arranged by the old forces; the goal is to not allow the old forces to take advantage of your gaps."

We are opposing all arrangements and persecution by the old forces, and we must not leave any omissions for the evil to take advantage.
