On September 9th, a few of us went to a rural area to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution. On the way back, we saw a field of peach trees blooming alongside the road. The farmers were working and said, "The peach trees normally bloom in February and March of the lunar calendar. This is the first time we've seen them bloom in September." We told them that it was a good thing and that they would meet with good if they remembered that Falun Dafa is good. They all happily agreed.

In a county in southwest China, there is a group of cultivators who live in a village on a high mountain. In the spring of 2002, the police substation ordered them to come to the police station and take pictures of Falun Gong practitioners. The police also demanded that the practitioners write pledges denouncing Falun Gong. The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together to make the photo go blank and none of them wrote a pledge. A few months later, the police called in the practitioners again. They told the practitioners that the previous photo had no images on it so they had to take another picture. The police also said that this time everybody had to write a pledge. But the practitioners firmly resisted. At the end, the police told them: Go back to practice. If there is no order from the supervisor, we will not interfere with you.

My father was diagnosed with a late stage of lung cancer. It was very severe. I introduced Falun Gong to my father and asked him if he would like to practice. He immediately answered, "I'd like to. I'd like to." Right after he had this thought, he immediately felt energetic. Two months later, my father was able to get out of bed and go to the field to do farm work. Many fellow villagers heard the story of how Falun Gong helped my father out from his deathbed and some of them also started to learn Falun Gong.

Facts about the Persecution

In the evening of January 11, 2001, Hu Xinggui, a vicious policeman from the Chengxi Police Substation of Suining City, Sichuan Province, led a group of ruffians to break into a female Falun Gong practitioner's home and forcibly abduct her. They also ransacked her home and seized her Falun Dafa books. Later the female practitioner was sentenced to one and a half years in a forced labor camp. Her husband said, "Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. My wife is a good person. You are not arresting bad people but good people." The vicious police then accused him of obstructing justice and illegally detained him for two days and two nights. They beat him, broke his ribs, and seriously injured his ear drum. The police threatened him, "You have to tell other people that you fell down yourself." In response many people said, "They are all bad police officers. The current policy is wrong. Those people who persecute you will eventually fail."
