Attempting to Escape Arrest and Torture By Police, Female Practitioner Dong Jinlan of Gansu Province Dies after Jumping from Sixth Floor Balcony

Dong Jinlan was a 38-year-old female Dafa practitioner from Shuangcheng Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City. Her husband died long ago, and she had to raise her two young children all by herself. After Jiang and his political gang started the persecution of Falun Gong, she went to Beijing several times to appeal; however, she was arrested each time. In addition, the police used despicable means to estrange her family members from her, which rendered her homeless. Even so, the police wouldn't give up and they still kept looking for her.

On September 3, 2002, police in Wuwei City broke into a truth-clarifying materials production site. A male practitioner escaped successfully, but Dong Jinlan was forced to jump down from the balcony of the 6^th floor to her death. Her body was first stored in the mortuary of the city hospital. In order to cover up their criminal act, the police secretly cremated her body on the same day. On September 4, police lied to her in-laws, saying that Dong jumped out of the building by herself when they were searching another practitioner and therefore they were not responsible for her death. After Dong's death, it rained 13 days in Wuwei City.

Chen Fenggang, the head of the National Security Team from the Wuwei Police Department, is the chief criminal that persecutes Falun Gong practitioners in that area. This evil thug has received retribution on many occasions; however, he did not learn a lesson. Instead, he became even more fanatical and kept ordering the police force to harass Dafa practitioners. Now he has received retribution again, becoming lame in one leg.
