Lawless Criminals in Tanghe County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, Kidnap Dafa Practitioners and Send Them to a Brainwashing Center

Two officials from Tongzhaipu Village in Tanghe County, Wang Yongwei (Secretary of Political and Judiciary Committee) and Yang Xinya (Party Secretary who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners), along with policemen from Tanghe County "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), launched a mass arrest of practitioners and then forced them to participate in a brainwashing class. Over 10 practitioners have been kidnapped and sent to the brainwashing class. Whoever does not cooperate with them is sent to prison right away. The authorities pay no regard to the law whatsoever.

Dafa practitioner Wang Quanmei firmly resisted the evil after she was arrested. Now she has been sent to Tanghe County Detention Center. Another practitioner successfully escaped from the brainwashing class under the protection of Teacher.

Li Bingshan, department chief, is the main person responsible for arresting and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

Zhao Qingben, Cui Hanlin, Li Chao, Li Weihang and Chang Keyong repeatedly arrested practitioners, ransacked their homes, and destroyed Dafa books. They are the key representatives of the local "610 office".

Guo Yunzhou is the recorder of the Political and Security Department. She wrote slanderous words about Dafa and forced practitioners to sign the document to denounce Dafa. Currently she has received her karmic retribution and lost her job in July 2002.

Since July 20, 1999, the policeman, Chang Keyong from the "610 Office" has repeatedly kidnapped practitioners, sent them to jail, and destroyed their Dafa books and tapes. For his record of persecuting Dafa practitioners, he was transferred to the city of Nanyang to continue the persecution of Dafa practitioners. In November 2001, on his way back to Tanghe County from Nanyang City, he bumped into a sixty-year-old practitioner from Tanghe County. In order to receive a bonus, he kidnapped the practitioner into his vehicle without any reason, detained him illegally at Tanghe County Detention Center and extorted two thousand Yuan from the practitioner's family.

The supervisor of the Tonghe County Detention Center, Luo Zhongming, used to curse the prisoners all the time. He brutally beat the practitioners by using both his hands and legs, hitting their faces and cuffing their hands behind their backs. Currently his wife died from a disease, and his son had a car accident. One person's evil behavior caused a whole family's misfortune.
