Teacher Is Beside Me

(Clearwisdom.net) I am an elderly woman in my seventies. I had suffered pain and illness for fifty years, but since 1992, I have been enjoying well-being and good health. For over ten years, I have experienced the enormous physical and mental changes that Dafa has brought to me. From the bottom of my heart, I believe in Dafa and believe in Teacher. I deeply believe that Teacher is right beside us, and he is always looking after us and protecting us. Therefore no matter what kind of barriers and difficulties we run into, we can overcome them.

To introduce Dafa to the public, I often went by myself alone since others were busy with other projects for Dafa. There was a period when I went to the Chinese Consulate daily to send forth righteous thoughts at 6:00 am. That early in the morning, it was still dark, and seeing an old lady sitting there by herself, people in the neighborhood who got up early would come by, pat me on the shoulder and give me a thumbs up to encourage me, or say a few kind words like, "Hello! Good for you!"

During my experience of introducing Dafa to the public, for quite a long period I went to the Chinese Consulate in the morning and to Queens Park (Provincial Parliament Building) in the afternoon, to clarify the true situation to Chinese people. One day at about 4:00 p.m., the sky was cloudy and gloomy, and there were no people around except two strangers sitting on a bench some distance from me. They kept looking in my direction, seemingly plotting something. They did not look like good people. I said in my mind that I was not afraid and I was not going to leave. I remembered Teacher saying, "If you are not afraid, the factor that would make you afraid will cease to exist." ("Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)") Soon they walked over and asked me in a very unfriendly way for money. I calmly patted my pocket and told them, "I have no money. All I have are these flyers. Please take one and read! Once you understand the truth, you will have a good future."

One day I introduced Dafa to a fellow Chinese man. He ferociously said, "How dare you talk to me; I am supposed to capture Falun Gong practitioners." I smiled and told him that it is Heaven's law that good is rewarded with good and evil will be met with evil returns. There is no escape.

Just like that, no matter whether it was bitterly cold or steaming hot, under our great and benevolent Teacher's protection, I went through wind and rain, through spring, summer, fall and winter. I see the dawn, now. The dawn is right in front of us.
