Tang Xiaomeng from Ziyang City, Sichuan Province Receives Just Punishment for Committing Bad Deeds

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

On the morning of May 13^th, 2000, Falun Gong practitioners from Yanjiang District, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province practiced the exercises on Dongyue Mountain to celebrate "World Falun Dafa Day." Tang Xiaomeng, who was teaching qigong on Dongyue Mountain, reported the event to the police department, and as a result the police illegally arrested more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners. Later, Tang often wrote articles to slander Falun Gong and published them in Wan Xia Newspaper, and lied about the persecution of Falun Gong and deceived local people.

Tang Xiaomeng has hated and been jealous of Falun Gong for a long time. Around 1994, Tang and his teacher Fang Zonghua fabricated a sham Qigong practice to swindle people. Fang Zonghua asked for 298 Yuan [the average monthly income of an average urban worker is about 500 Yuan] per session, per person. He also concocted other scams to separate people from their hard-earned money. What is even more unfortunate is that after practicing his exercises, the patients got worse, not better.

Since Falun Gong was introduced to the public, people gradually understood its profound and extraordinary principles, astonishing effects, and realized its uniqueness and preciousness. One by one, people left the many sham Qigong practices that stole their money and harmed them. Fang Zonghua's sham Qigong could no longer cheat people. Almost everyone left him and joined the practice of Falun Gong. When our Teacher held lectures in Chengdu City in 1994, Fang Zonghua gathered all his strength to obstruct the spread of Falun Dafa and recklessly caused damage. On the one hand, he fabricated rumors to slander Falun Gong. On the other hand, he tried to obstruct people from learning Falun Gong in every possible way.

Tang Xiaomeng was involved in a car accident two months ago. He sustained seven broken ribs and a head injury. He has been hospitalized for two months and is still listed in serious condition.

Two Cases of Karmic Retribution in Dahe Township, Luquan City, Hebei Province

Chief Officer Gao Aimin of a local police station in Dahe Township, Luquan City, Hebei Province is in his forties. He had a poor reputation in the township, and there were many complaints against him. On July 20^th, 1999, he was transferred to local police station in Dahe Township as chief officer. He actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners by arresting them, confiscating their families' property and sending them to forced labor camps. In Luquan City, the Dahe Township police station has the highest number of Falun Gong practitioners being arrested and sent to force labor camps. Now Gao Aimin is suffering from an incurable illness and close to death. He has had several major operations, including one on his stomach. He also has many other diseases, including problems with his heart. I hope those people who persecute Falun Gong will realize the consequences of their actions after reading this news. It is not still too late.

The former Political and Judiciary Secretary of Dahe Township Du Jiqing is a willing and active participant in persecuting Falun Gong. He was recently diagnosed with cancer.
