The Mighty Virtue of a Falun Gong Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) One Falun Gong practitioner used to be an intimidating man. After starting to practice cultivation, he took the Fa as teacher and cultivated diligently. His reputation as a good person has spread far and wide.

After July 20, 1999, he was fearless in spite of the evil forces, and worked with his fellow practitioners to appeal, tell people the facts about the persecution, make truth-clarifying materials and spread the Fa to government officials. As a result, the situation in the city changed significantly. Many people came to understand that Falun Dafa is good and the "self-immolation" in Tiananmen Square was nothing but a sham. Moved by the influence of the practitioners' righteous manner, the local officials just went through the motions when they were issued instructions from "the top" to escalate the persecution. In addition, they even protected the Falun Gong practitioners quietly.

The vicious people in the provincial government heard about this practitioner, so the police station dispatched several vehicles to arrest him. The police had the director of the neighborhood committee try to find him first, but the director replied, "I have no idea where his family is, not to mention who he is." They didn't know where to look for him, so they waited at his house. When the practitioner came back home from his work place, he saw several police cars parked there. As he was getting closer and trying to figure out what was happening, the director worried for the practitioner's safety. His neighbors saw him and took him away quietly, and told him, "They are coming for you!" The practitioner smiled and left.

Those vicious police didn't give up, however, and drove to his work place. His boss told the police, "We can't lose him, and we won't give him to you guys." The police refused to leave, so the boss said, "Isn't it because he practices Falun Gong? He has a reputation as a good person. Don't think you can just take him away. If you do want to arrest him, you can arrest me first." Then the boss got into a police car on his own. The police could do nothing but push him out of the car. They were crestfallen and left without another word.
