By a practitioner living outside China

A fellow practitioner told me about the following experience: After returning from Houston, this practitioner witnessed the Fa-rectification process whirling through a part of his space in other dimensions. The speed of the rectification was unimaginably fast; the scenery of that space was changing every instant. Staring at the empty space, he felt somewhat lucky, yet he was puzzled. He felt lucky because he had survived a blast similar to an atomic explosion. He was puzzled because that part of his space became totally empty. After careful contemplation, he said that he had used to look for external causes and external solutions when he was facing conflicts. Teacher gave him many chances to advance in cultivation, but he pushed them away one by one. Furthermore, he had believed that clarifying the truth to fulfill his world was an attachment. Thus, he was not very active in clarifying the truth.

After hearing his story, I was shocked and speechless. My own behavior was just like that! If I wait until the Fa-rectification has reached the human world to understand this, I will be facing the consequences of my inability to let go of my attachments. Because of my fear of having attachments, I'm not performing my duty of saving sentient beings, and my world will be an empty world. By then, regret and remorse will not change anything. Believing in Teacher and believing in Dafa cannot be just empty words.

Finally, to encourage and inspire ourselves, let's review the following passage from Teacher's short article "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples":

"If what you do is no longer worthy of a Dafa disciple, think about it, if under the greatest mercy since the beginning of heaven and earth and under Buddha's infinite grace you still can't do well, how could there be another chance? Cultivation and Fa-rectification are serious. Whether you are able to treasure this period of time is, in fact, a matter of whether you can be responsible to yourselves. This period of time will not last long, but it can forge the mighty virtue of magnificent Enlightened Beings, Buddhas, Daos, and Gods of different levels, and even Lords of different levels. It can also destroy overnight a cultivator who has reached a really high level but who has become less strict with himself. Disciples, be diligent! Everything that's the most magnificent and the most wonderful is developed in the process of your validating Dafa. Your vows will become testaments of your future."
