Practitioners Sentenced in Behind-Closed-Door Courts Staged by "610 Office" in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province

The "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province cruelly tortures Falun Dafa practitioners. They set up illegal court sessions to sentence Falun Dafa practitioners secretly from 5 to 15 year jail terms. They do not notify family members. Lawyers are threatened that if they represent practitioners, their licenses to practice law will be forfeited. Practitioners were all held in detention centers before their illegal sentencing. Some had been held for more than 8 months. Before the recent 16^th Communist Party Congress, the "610 Office" illegally held brainwashing classes to detain Falun Dafa practitioners. They deprived Falun Dafa practitioners' rights to normal life in order to prevent them from going to Beijing to appeal.

Some of the Falun Dafa practitioners were jailed in Mudanjiang Prison after their illegal sentencing. Police lock the practitioners together with life-sentence and death-sentence prisoners. Some are locked together with regular criminal prisoners, then they have to get up at 4 am everyday to work till 6 pm. They labor overtime, but are not allowed sufficient food. They do not have time to wash in the morning, and other prisoners steal their breakfasts. They are often beaten. If physically weak practitioners could not finish their workload that day, the police would beat them up. Falun Dafa practitioners are enduring inhuman treatments, being mentally and physically tortured.

Every evening at 7 pm, they have to make their bed. If the bed is not arranged well enough, they are beaten until 9 pm. Practitioners who firmly cultivate Falun Dafa are forced to sit in solitary cells, or to be "trained" in special intensive groups. Police pressure Falun Dafa practitioners under pressure from their own superiors. They use all sorts of torture in their attempts to make Falun Dafa practitioners give in.

Please stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners! Heavenly principles state that good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evil deeds will meet with evil consequences.
