Zhou Yufang, Su Min and other Falun Gong Practitioners in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province Kidnapped and Forced to Attend Brainwashing Classes

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 25^th, 2002, Zhou Yufang, Su Min and several other Falun Gong practitioners were kidnapped as soon as they arrived at work and were directly sent to the brainwashing class in the Zhangshi "Re-education" Center in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. They were all employees of the Dadong sub-branch of the Shenyang City Commercial Bank.

This past August, the Dadong sub-branch forced every employee to fill out a form stating whether they practiced Falun Gong or not, including those who had not practiced before. It can then be inferred that all the Falun Gong practitioners at that workplace, or who were retired, or who refused to fill out the form, were then illegally sent to brainwashing classes.

In October of 1999, the Dadong sub-branch fired Xu Zhihai, a 30 year-old male Falun Gong practitioner, because he went to Beijing to appeal. Additionally, Xu's wife, Li Jing, who worked for North Airline, was also fired. Their son was only 8 months old at the time. The young couple was forced out of their home and for three years have lived in very difficult circumstances. In the year 2001, Chang Min, a 50 year-old woman who was the acting secretary for the Dabei sub-agent of the Dadong sub-branch, for self-serving reasons collaborated with the local community and Zhulin police station, kidnapping Shu Yu, a 34 year-old female Falun Gong practitioner. Later on, along with the political-legal committee, they also kidnapped Gao Song, a 34 year-old female Falun Gong practitioner.

Shu Yu and Gang Song went on a hunger strike while in prison; their lives are presently in danger.
