7. A Practitioner from Japan Comes to Help Those Who Have Been Deceived from
Committing Wrongdoing
Among the Falun Gong practitioners sending righteous thoughts quietly in the
Texas rain was a Chinese girl in her twenties who now lives in Japan. She works
for a food company and leads a busy life. She told the reporter,
"Originally, I didn't plan a journey to the U.S. to protest Jiang. However,
I changed my mind as a result of a recent event."
It turned out that even though she was very busy, she always spared some time
to go to local tourist spots to hand out Falun Gong truth-clarifying newspapers
to tourist groups from China. One day she handed a newspaper to a Chinese man
who, upon seeing that it was a Falun Gong newspaper, instantly became angry and
tore the newspaper into pieces.
This event stirred up her feelings very much. She felt very bad, "not
because I have been humiliated unreasonably by other people, but because a
Chinese man can be deceived so deeply as to hate a practice that is as
beneficial to one's body and mind [like Falun Dafa]. This has led him to produce
so much karma without his even realizing it. How many people in China have been
deceived by the government's slanderous propaganda and look with hatred upon
Falun Dafa and its practitioners? Yet all this has been caused by Jiang, who
insists on having his own way."
This practitioner thinks the series of peaceful protests in the US and Mexico
will be able to make Jiang see that people both inside and outside of China hold
him responsible for his evil. This may lead to some of those who have been
deceived by him to see the light of truth and prevent them from committing any
wrongdoings themselves. Therefore, she insisted on coming to the U.S. She told
the reporter about a colleague and fellow practitioner who planned to come to
the U.S., but had to buy a high-priced air ticket (costing about $1600). He came
without any hesitation.
8. Indonesia: "I Was Eager to Come Here to Tell People My Personal
Stories."
Mr. and Mrs. Huang own several stores in Indonesia. Mrs. Huang, an affable
lady, has been practicing Falun Dafa for three years. Before beginning the
practice, she said she had been unable to watch TV for almost twelve years. As
long as she watched the TV, even for just five minutes, her eyes would feel very
uncomfortable and would be filled with tears. She also always had symptoms of
severe flu, which could not be eliminated by any means. However, after
practicing Falun Gong for only two months, all of her symptoms gradually left.
After half a year of practicing, when fellow practitioners gave her a copy of
Zhuan Falun, she said, feeling a little anxious, "Well, I cannot
read because my eyes fail me." But when she picked up the book, she felt
nothing uncomfortable with her eyes, which she felt was miraculous. Upon seeing
this miracle, Mr. Huang also started practicing Falun Gong.
"Falun Dafa is really good!" Mrs. Huang said honestly. "I was
eager to come here to tell people my personal stories, and to tell people that
we are cultivating ourselves in the principles of
Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. Jiang is totally wrong to persecute Falun
Gong."
9. A Girl living in the U.S.: "The More People, the More Power."
Xiao Lin is a mother in her thirties who seems to be about twenty years old,
slight of figure with a simple and lovely face. She told us that she came to the
U.S. about five years ago, and is now working as a waitress in a restaurant. She
works more than ten hours every day, earning a moderate salary for her hard
work. As soon as she heard that the number one persecutor of Falun Gong would
come to the U.S., Xiao Lin decided to stand up for Falun Gong.
In order not to interfere with her employer's routine operation, Xiao Lin
posted an advertisement, willing to pay $80 per day to find someone to take over
her job for one week. "Finally, one day before my leaving, I found
someone." Saying this, she smiled happily. I figured that she had spent at
least a thousand dollars- not a small number to her. Seemingly knowing what I
was thinking, she came up to me and said, "To me, money is only an external
thing. It is a matter of conscience to ask for a fair treatment for Falun Gong.
The more people, the more power. So I came."
