Making Great Efforts to Resolve Discord with Kindness

(Clearwisdom.net) I saw a scene during meditation: When Dafa practitioners do well, gods in the heavens all give us the thumbs up with admiration, sometimes with tears in their eyes. The evil beings can only look on in despair and anger because there is nothing they can do. When Dafa disciples cannot let go of things or when they each stick to their own point of view, the gods will laugh at our confusion, yet their laughter is not to ridicule or sneer, but in the manner of pure compassion and tolerance. The human sides of Dafa practitioners are fighting with one another and feel indignant, while their divine sides are being tolerant and forgiving of one another. At that moment, the evil beings are laughing wildly, cheering their success in interfering with us.

I remember once I had a disagreement with another practitioner regarding the contents of truth-clarifying materials. I felt very miserable. While I was feeling sad, I suddenly saw a lot of shining spots on his thoughts, and my so-called misery disappeared straight away. I have since completely changed my attitude towards this practitioner.

Indeed, we have come to cultivate, not to do work. We are striving to become enlightened beings instead of seeking satisfaction in the human world. Then why can't we regard all that is happening around us from the perspective of a god?

Let us be good to all and try to resolve any discord with kindness and compassion! Let us all have in our hearts a bright sun of compassion, and let us illuminate all things on earth with the Buddha light that we have cultivated.
