The "610 Office" Spreads Rumors Creating Terror and Framing Falun Gong in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province

(1) I am a Dafa practitioner in Shuangyashan City,
Heilongjiang Province, and I met with two ladies from the water company on July
18, 2002. They said that their work unit leaders told them recently that
according to the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in
the government and all other political and judiciary systems] Falun Gong
practitioners would poison the water around July 20, to harm all the residents
in the city, so they were required to watch the water source for 24 hours. Upon
hearing this clearly fabricated story I pointed out right away that I am a
practitioner of Falun Gong and the principles of "Truth, Compassion and
Tolerance" taught by Falun Gong require that practitioners consider others
in everything that they do and be a good person with high moral standards. We
have kept the greatest compassion and tolerance in mind during the last three
years, asking only for our basic rights in a peaceful and rational manner and
never resorting to any violent means. These rumors are a fabrication and an
attempt to frame Falun Gong once again.
(2) A coal mine located on the Shuangyashan Friendship Farm
of Heilongjiang Province could not account for two tons of gunpowder this
August. It's known by the insiders that the public security accused Falun Gong
as the prime suspect and reported this to the government. Deputy Prime Minister
Wu Bangguo ordered that the case be solved within one week. This incident was
known to everyone in Shuangyashan City. This case was solved very quickly and
the crime was apparently committed by a policeman named Shu Baocai in the
Traffic Department, Lingdong District. The rumor was dispelled and people
realized more clearly the ugly nature of Jiang's regime.
