Dafa Practitioner Xu Songduo Illegally Sentenced to Four-Year Prison Term by Zhongmou County Appellate Court of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa Practitioner Xu Dongduo (female, 48 years old) was turned in to the police while she was clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people and distributing Dafa materials. On the evening of December 31, 2001, she was detained at the Zhongmou County Police Station. The policemen used cruel torture to try to force her to give out the source of the Dafa materials. Xu Songduo persisted in her righteousness and courage, showing Dafa's power and a Dafa practitioner's dignity.

On January 1st, 2002, she was sent to the Zhongmou County Detention Center. During her illegal detention, the police did not allow her relatives and friends to visit her. The Zhongmou County police also intensified the torture. Without notifying her family, the Zhongmou County Appellate Court bypassed lawful procedures and secretly sentenced her to 4 years in prison.

Xu Songduo is verified as having been sent to the women's prison in Xinxiang City, Henan Province on October 1, 2002.
