A Dafa Practitioner's Letter to His Wife: I Must Step Forward Once Again

My dear wife:

How are you? I don't know if you can understand me. We had misunderstandings in the past but it doesn't matter, I do not blame you. Do you know what my belief is? It is the Law of the Universe that gives us life. If no one protects it and everyone hides in their comfortable homes, living their comfortable lives, how long can this comfort last?

My belief is not wrong. Ever since I believed in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," I have only done good things that are beneficial to society. However, those old evil forces have deceived people and therefore they blindly execute the criminal policies and orders from the top. They frequently lock practitioners in detention centers, brainwashing classes, and labor camps, where they forcefully brainwash us and feed us with lies. They threaten us to make us write shameful statements to denounce Falun Gong. This causes practitioners to make mistakes that are not easy to reverse. Isn't this very much like forcing a good woman to become a prostitute?

Maybe you don't exactly know how harmful those things that I wrote were. Whoever does bad things must repay them, and I am not an exception. For the past 10 days, I have not been sober-minded. I could not remember the state I was in before I wrote and signed the "guarantee statement" promising not to practice Falun Gong. I know it was because I made a mistake, not because I was being superstitious. This is the worst thing I have done in four years. I feel very guilty. I know that if I don't correct this mistake, I will not be able to eat and sleep well and I will not be able to face myself.

The collaborators (former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture) are doing things against Heaven; the severity of their retribution will be unthinkable. I clarified the truth to them to free them from deception but they didn't listen. Their future will be very frightening.

I really appreciate your taking good care of our baby. The reason I can't be next to you is because of the evil policies against Falun Gong that have been established by the people who are in power. However, I know that the day when the Fa will rectify the world is coming soon. You and our baby will be blessed with a good future.

I must step out to make up for my mistake. Please forgive me for leaving you one more time. Before I make up for my mistake, I am still someone who bears guilt for doing bad things towards goodness, and as such, I cannot go and live a comfortable life. Our baby would not want her father to be a villain. I know my true nature has decided that I must step out once again.

I hope you will teach our child to have a mind of justice. I do not want our child to be selfish and without principle. Our baby is smart, sharp, and cute; it is all because of you--thank you. I will save money for the child and send it to you periodically. Without protecting the Dafa of the Universe, there will be no wonderful things in the world and human beings will have no future. The reason for this is that Heaven and Earth, including human society, are created by Dafa. Since I know about the Dafa of the Universe, I must step out to protect it. This is my duty!
