Police in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province Torture Psychotic Killer into Saying He Is a Falun Gong Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) Dong Li of Liaoning Province was a psychotic man who murdered his wife and daughter. Under the direction and the supervision of the "610 Office," police officers in Chaoyang County, Chaoyang City in Liaoning Province tortured Dong Li into saying that he was a Falun Gong practitioner. [The 610 office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] Then they repeatedly showed this false confession on national TV and radio stations in order to slander and incite hatred against Falun Gong.

The following is a statement from an insider in this case: "The police used extremely cruel means to force Dong Li to say that he was a Falun Gong practitioner. At first, Dong tried to reason with the police and adamantly denied that he was a practitioner. But the police used dreadfully brutal means to torture him. His painful screams truly horrified me. I was not able to look at his face, as he was in indescribable pain from the torture. Eventually, Dong could not help but agree to cooperate with the police and slander Falun Gong. Even so, the police were still angry, and told Dong to crawl on the floor and bark like a dog. What happened before my eyes made me realize that all the propaganda by Jiang's regime against Falun Gong is false. Dong indeed had psychiatric problems and sometimes he would talk nonsense. Normally, though, he was fine and his mind was very clear. At such times he often said, 'I am not a Falun Gong practitioner. I have been falsely accused.'"
