Police in Yanggu County, Shandong Province Send 6-Month-Old Baby to Detention Center with His Parents--Because His Grandparents Practice Falun Gong!

(Clearwisdom.net)

A 6-month old baby was recently sent with his parents to a detention center, simply because his grandparents practice Falun Gong. Now he is in a very difficult situation. We urgently appeal to the World Protection Of Women and Children Association to rescue this poor baby.

Prior to practicing Falun Gong, this baby's grandfather had liver cancer, but after he started to practice, his disease miraculously went away. Since the persecution started, he has been forced to become homeless, and has suffered a lot. The baby's second aunt was detained at a forced labor camp for telling people the facts about Falun Dafa. His grandmother was kidnapped from home during the Spring Festival in 2002 and sent to a forced labor camp. In order to arrest the baby's grandfather, even though his relatives are non-practitioners, the homes where he had stayed were ransacked, and the occupants were threatened and kidnapped by the officials of the "610 office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] in Yuangu City. Prior to the 16th Party Congress in November 2002, the local police broke into the baby's home and tried to force his parents, who are non-practitioners, to tell them where his grandfather lived--but his parents didn't know. Then, without saying another word the police arrested both parents and sent them along with the baby to a detention center.
