Two Stories: A Landlord and His Wife Attain the Fa; The Kindness of a Taxi-Driver

Several Dafa practitioners who became homeless because of the persecution rented a house from a couple who are around 60 years of age. They are very kind, but what little they knew about Falun Gong came from government propaganda.

After the Dafa practitioners rented their house, the couple found that these people were nothing like how they were described by Jiang's propaganda. The kind, considerate behavior of the Dafa practitioners let the landlord and his wife truly realize that Falun Dafa is a righteous cultivation way. Now, the couple has begun to practice cultivation, study the Fa, practice the exercises, send forth righteous thoughts, and even hand out truth-clarifying materials along with the practitioners every day. They also gave the Dafa practitioners 100 jin of rice (jin is a unit of weight in China and is about 1.1 pounds) and wouldn't accept any money for it. They told the practitioners sincerely, "We want to make our own contribution to Dafa, so use the money for saving people."

A Dafa practitioner escaped from jail with righteous thoughts. He was so weak due to more than 10 days of a hunger strike while in prison that he couldn't even walk. Many cars passing by the prison gate didn't stop. The drivers were unwilling to give him a hand except for one kind taxi driver who stopped. The driver asked him when he was aboard, "What is wrong?" The practitioner replied, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner." The driver said, "There is nothing wrong with Falun Gong practitioners. They are good people. Society would be much better if everyone practiced Falun Gong."
