My Experience Validating Dafa in Beijing

(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of 2000, I went with another practitioner to Beijing by train. The morning of the second day we arrived in Tiananmen Square, raised a three-meter-long banner saying "Falun Dafa is Wonderful" and chanted the slogans "Falun Dafa is Righteous," "Master Li has been wronged by the government," and "Restore the reputation of our Master." Seeing what we were doing, vicious police rushed upon us. I ran in the opposite direction while bringing out another banner. No sooner had I opened it completely when 4-5 policemen caught me, clubbed me with an electric baton, and cursed at me while dragging me to their vehicle. To muffle my voice, they stepped on my mouth and, after they pushed me into the vehicle, they beat me severely with their fists and shocked me with their electric batons.

We were then carried to a police station. A few hours later, the room we stayed in was filled with arrested Dafa practitioners. By that evening, we were sent to a cell in the detention center, where there were 5 criminal suspects and over 10 Dafa practitioners. When it was the time for dinner, I didn't want to eat anything and sat to the side. The second day the police shot a photo of us, and started interrogating everyone. I was put into a room and handcuffed to a chair. I was fearless and refused to answer any questions. Afterwards the police let me return to the cell. I later acknowledged that those whose righteous thoughts were not strong enough were all persecuted by torture.

I told the practitioners there with me that I would not eat the food there. Some of them also joined in this hunger strike. The criminal suspects detained in the cell swore at us, and ordered us to sweep the ground and to take turns looking out for the guards. In the afternoon, one of the practitioners suddenly turned pale and appeared very weak. The head of the cell immediately called the doctor and police. They let the practitioner drink some water, but she refused determinedly. They thus had to release her shortly.

By the third day, the police decided to force-feed us. Several police took the action together. One practitioner said, "They dare not force-feed me because my blood pressure was up to 280." She said she was fine when I asked how she felt later. She was released that evening.

On the fourth day, they interrogated me again. I told them the true situation about Dafa. They said, "Since you dared to come here, you must be afraid of nothing. If you had been afraid of death, you wouldn't have come." I confirmed that this was true. Seeing that I was so determined, they didn't say anything more. A policewoman sitting aside said jokingly, "Persevere on; still persevering."

On the afternoon of the fifth day, the detained criminal suspects made me sweep the ground. Soon I was exhausted and wanted to throw up because I hadn't eaten anything in those five days. After I finished, I felt even worse. I was then carried to office. They urged me to drink some water. I told them, "I am innocent, so I will never drink or eat anything here even if I am thirsted and starved to death."

Shortly after I was put back in the cell, a policeman shouted my number and told me to collect my stuff. They drove me somewhere out in the suburbs, dropped me off and left. My health improved shortly thereafter. I slept on snow that night.

I felt very thirsty and hungry the next day. Without any money I realized I could only get get home by begging. Yet, when I reached into my pocket, I suddenly found 100 Yuan inside. The police must have returned the money they took away from me before. I therefore returned home smoothly.

Master told us in Touring North America to Teach the Fa,

"When you conduct yourselves righteously Master can do anything for you. If your righteous thoughts are truly strong, if you're able to put aside the thought of life and death, and if you're solid and unshakable like diamond, then those evil beings won't dare to touch you, because they know that other than killing you any type of persecution will be useless."
