Recent Persecution Cases against Practitioners in Benxi City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 5, 2002, a nurse Falun Gong practitioner from Benxi City, Liaoning Province was kidnapped into the Benxi City Forced Labor Camp for brainwashing. Persisting in her belief, she protested with a hunger strike. During force-feeding sessions, a lot of blood oozed from her mouth when the tube was inserted into her stomach. Personnel from the forced labor camp declared that if a practitioner refuses to be transformed, he or she would be sent to the Masanja Forced Labor camp, which is notorious for their brutality in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Being sent to forced labor camp is a common occurrence for practitioners who refuse to give up their beliefs. Their human rights mean nothing to the authorities.

On October 14, 2002, nineteen Dafa practitioners from Hengren County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province were kidnapped to Benxi City's Forced Labor Camp for brainwashing. Two Dafa practitioners are still being held there.

Determined Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Wen'an, over 60 years old, was kidnapped and persecuted by people from the Benxi City Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province.

Dafa practitioner Chen Wei was kidnapped to Benxi City Forced Labor Camp for saying, "Falun Dafa is good." He was detained in a small solitary cell for more than two weeks and still has not been released.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Huishuang is from the village of Huolian in Xihu District, Benxi City, Liaoning Province. Because she persists in cultivating Dafa, she was illegally sent to the Masanja Forced Labor Camp, where she endured a lot of brutal torture. However, nothing has changed her righteous belief in Dafa. Later, she escaped from the evil den. Before the 16^th Party Congress, personnel from the police station in the Huolian village arrested Ms. Zhang again and sent her to the Benxi City Detention Center for further persecution. Without knowing what kind of tortures the police had inflicted on her, they sent Zhang Huishuang home after she was nearly completely incapacitated physically. Because of her righteous faith in Dafa, she is now able to do the sitting meditation again. In order to avoid further persecution, she was forced to leave her home and go from place to place.

Prior to the 16^th Party Congress, the police in Benxi City, Liaoning Province started another round of persecution against Falun Gong. The officials from the "610 Office" forced all the employees of every company and students in every school to watch movies slandering Falun Gong. Not even elementary school students were exempt, and everyone was forced to pay eight Yuan each for watching the mandatory movie. [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]

Police officers came to Dafa practitioners' homes to interrogate them and search their homes. These police officers tried to force practitioners to hand over one of their photos for future identification and fill out a form stating that they will stop practicing Falun Gong. The police forcibly arrested and illegally detained those who refused to cooperate. Officers from the Hedong Police Station, Xihu District Precinct came to practitioner Ms. Wang Lianjiu's home. Before she started cultivation, Ms. Wang suffered from a brain tumor and had to use a cane to walk. After practicing Dafa cultivation she was able to walk without a cane. Several police officers forcibly took the old lady from the third floor to the first. Many neighbors witnessed what happened. One older lady with a righteous mind said a few words of justice, and ended up being harassed and threatened by the police. The police only stopped when Ms. Wang started to lose consciousness from their abuse.

Several officers from the Hedong Police Station went to the 67-year-old Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Yuhua's home to arrest him. But by using his wits and righteous thoughts, Mr. Liu got away. He has been forced to leave his home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution.

A police officer and the community director came to Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Qingjie's home, trying to force her to give up practicing by threatening her with arrest. She steadfastly refused and was able to get away because of her powerful righteous thoughts. Ms. Li was then forced to leave her home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution.

Benxi Forced Labor Camp deputy supervisor Guo Tieying is an active participant in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

The deputy party secretary from Benxi Steel and Iron Factory's Second Metal Purification Factory Chen Xingguo in Benxi City, Liaoning Province, committed many wrongdoings against Falun Dafa. He sent many Falun Gong practitioner at his company to a forced labor camp for brainwashing.

The Hedong Police Station also participated in following and monitoring Dafa practitioners.

Collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray and turned against Dafa due to brainwashing and torture]in Benxi City include Kang Yueling, Li Yuehua, Liang Jiming, Li Chengjun, Fu Yuzhen. Fan Zhiqiang and Sun Yongquan are in charge of guarding the practitioners. The collaborators are doing their best to harass Dafa practitioners and spread rumors. We hope Dafa practitioners will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions that are behind this persecution.

We want to solemnly warn those who are taking part in persecuting Dafa practitioners--good is rewarded with good, and evil is met with evil. "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" is the universal principle. When you persecute what is good, you are making a conscious choice that you will be held accountable for in the future.
