Li Lin, female, former Labor Bureau Supervisor in the Guta District, Jinzhou City, was turned in to the police when she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong at work. On May 28, 2002, police from the Beijie Police Station kidnapped her and sent her to the First Detention Center of Jingzhou City. Without informing her family, the court secretly tried and sentenced her to 4 years in jail. She appealed and was rejected. On November 15, 2002, she was sent to Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.

Li Lin had appealed for Falun Gong in Beijing in October 1999. As a result, the East Area Court of Beijing sentenced her to a 1 -year jail term and sent her to the Dabei Prison.

In Dabei, she was subjected to force-feeding with drugs that were harmful to her nervous system. When she was released, she was unresponsive and as thin as a reed. In the First Detention Center she was inhumanly tortured. Along with heart problems, she was also diagnosed with several other health problems. But the prison officials declared that they would keep everyone in jail except those with infectious diseases. Now Li Lin is in the No. 3 Team of Dabei Prison.
