The Power of a Yellow Dafa Button is Revealed in Mexico

(Clearwisdom.net) When my mother came to Mexico during APEC, she felt really left out and bad that she could not do much to help with our truth clarification efforts, since she is 70 years old and has no special skills.

But she knew that sending forth righteous thoughts is really important at this time, so she was doing it every day, almost every hour, ranging from 10 to 15 minutes each time, and she would tell me what she saw through her Celestial Eye. She would read Zhuan Falun all day, and in between she focused all her attention on eliminating the evil.

One day she said to me, "You know, that yellow Falun Dafa button you wear is very important. When I was sending forth righteous thoughts, I saw many grotesquely shaped demons get really scared when they saw practitioners with that button. I was walking around with a huge sack and putting all the demons I saw on the street, embassy and everywhere into the sack and destroying them. But when they saw that Dafa button they would just dive into the sack on their own. They are so scared of it. So I think you should wear it all the time." I knew that it was powerful, but my mother's story gave me some explanation as to what has been happening around that yellow button.

I would put the buttons on my bag, shirts, and jacket--everything I carry. But the really mysterious thing was that when Mexican people saw this button on the street, in the train, at the senators' building or congress building, they seemed to be shocked. They showed an immediate reaction to it as if it awakened their memory of something. I think they understood, deep inside, that they came to this world to obtain the Fa.

Usually when I walked into the subway, some people always noticed this button right away. They often showed a reaction as though they were caught by some force, the energy coming from the button. And they would stare and stare at it until I felt a bit embarrassed. But I was happy that they saw the button with Falun Dafa on it. Many times, they did not even hesitate but went right ahead and read, "Falun Dafa, la Verdad, Compasion, Tolerancia."

I was eating a hotdog in the busy market with many people also standing around eating. I was facing a young couple who were also eating hotdogs. Then they seem to notice the button on my chest. Right away, the young woman started looking at my button; she kept looking at it and looking at it, and said to her friend in Spanish, "I like it." Then, they both started to look at it and reading the words on it. So I gave her a flyer.

Returning from the Chinese Embassy on Saturday afternoon, someone called to us from behind. It was a young Mexican man. He said, "I saw a newspaper article about Falun Dafa having a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy a few days ago, and I just saw that yellow Falun Dafa button on your bag. I was so glad. Where can I learn the practice?" So we gave him a flyer.

One Chinese man also read, "Falun Dafa" with perfect Chinese pronunciation when he saw the button my fellow practitioner was wearing. When I bumped into him in the hotel lobby, I asked him if he was Chinese. He said he was in English, so I gave him some truth-clarifying materials and a VCD.

We were at the front gate of the Mexican National Congress building to get a pass. It took some time for the pass to arrive, and as we were standing in line, a middle aged Mexican man looked at me while making Falun Dafa exercise movements for me to notice. When I looked surprised he said, "I know Falun Dafa." I thought he was just trying to be funny. But he really made various Falun Dafa exercise movements. Then he said, "I also practice Falun Dafa. My friend from Portland, Oregon sent me two books, a videotape and a cassette tape one year ago, so I practice at home. But I need a new, good exercise music tape. In fact, my friend told me since there are not that many practicing Falun Dafa in Mexico, I should start a group here. I have been thinking about it."

We exchanged contact information. A few weeks later he visited us and said, "I need your help to set up a practice site. There is a very nice park near here where we can start a group. Please, help me start one."

He speaks fluent English and he is a leader of the Teacher's Union. So a fellow practitioner asked him to help us clarify the truth to the teacher's union and ask them to sign a petition. He said yes, on the condition that we also give them an opportunity to learn the practice.

It seems that Falun Dafa yellow buttons really connect us with all those people with predestined relationships and they seem to clarify the truth on their own. Besides, I found this button's bright yellow color and deep blue letters look really good, and it goes well with anything I wear or carry. It makes things we wear more beautiful. I love this button. I hope many Dafa practitioners will make a conscious effort to wear one all the time.
