Karmic Retribution Received by Officials of Xiaozhaizi Village, Chenyangzhen Township, Qingdao City, Shandong Province

Editors' Note: Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

On February 9, 2001, local military guards Zhang Baoshu and Zhang Yuliang conspired with police to arrest two Falun Dafa practitioners. One of the female practitioners was visiting her parents, and she was taken away in front of her 80-year-old mother. The other practitioner was taken away in front of her 5-year-old child. There were several dozen police officers and 5 police vehicles involved in the incident. They locked the practitioners in an unheated room in which the temperature was around -10 X C (approximately 14 X F). The practitioners were not allowed to put on extra clothes or move around to keep warm. When the freezing practitioners moved a little to generate some body heat, they were badly beaten by Ji Yurao, an officer from Chenyangzhen township. According to local officials, Ji is a thug hired by the township. The thugs used the most inhuman methods to torture the practitioners; however the practitioners endured the torments of being beaten and sworn at without fighting back.

The law of the universe is just: good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil. When Zhang Baoshu was tearing down a wall for his relatives, the wall came down on him. He ended up spending a large amount of money on medical treatment and was permanently disabled. Zhang Yuling has been imprisoned for his illegal activities. There was a woman who frequently slandered Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners with profanities. Since then, the scandal of incest within her family quickly saturated the local news. Another person turned in a practitioner who was handing out truth-clarifying flyers. This caused great suffering to the practitioner. But a few days later, this person's wife suddenly became sick and died.

These are just a few examples from Xiaozhaizi village. There are countless examples of karmic retribution in other regions. These incidents are not accidental; they are warnings to people: Do not persecute Falun Dafa practitioners.
