Eradicate Our Own Notions and Give All of Those Around Us an Opportunity to Learn the True Situation

(Clearwisdom.net) I have a relative whose moral standard was not high, and he did not have a positive understanding of Dafa, either. He held a particularly strong opposition regarding Dafa disciples going to Beijing to appeal and also about clarifying the truth of Dafa to the public, even at the risk of being beaten, arrested, re-educated through forced labor and being convicted. We all thought my relative would never be saved. Yet even he, after watching a truth-clarification VCD, then completely understood the true situation of the persecution and asked for truth-clarification literature to read. He also asked to read Zhuan Falun. Before finishing his first reading Zhuan Falun, he asked to distribute truth-clarification literature himself. For such a person who we all thought was unable to practice cultivation, we are all shocked that he voluntarily asked to do good things for Dafa after understanding the truth of Dafa.

Teacher said, "Dafa disciples are now sentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation." ("Righteous Thoughts") We should therefore not follow our own notions, believing that anyone cannot be saved and that they are in very serious trouble. We should hold as much hope as we can to clarify the truth to any person we meet, and give them an opportunity to know the truth of Dafa that they will no longer be deceived by the lies and false rumors.
