Two Short Stories of Chinese Police Officers' Righteous Thoughts

There is a male prison guard in one of the detention centers in Northeast China who sympathizes with Dafa practitioners. One day in September 1999, the authorities held a meeting to sentence Dafa disciples to forced labor camp. Dafa practitioners clapped loudly when the names of those who were sentenced to forced labor were announced. They were using the clapping to encourage fellow practitioners to hang in there. The sentencing meeting became a meeting to encourage and support Dafa practitioners. The prison guard was deeply moved by what he saw. He went to Sun, one of the Dafa practitioners who was being sentenced to forced labor, shook his hand, and urged him never to give in.

The wife and daughter of a police chief in a city in Shandong Province are Dafa practitioners. After practicing Dafa, the chronic diseases that his wife and daughter suffered for a number of years were gone. That made the police chief realize that Falun Dafa is good. After July 20, 1999, the mother and daughter went to Beijing to tell the world that Falun Dafa is good. They were intercepted and sent back. The authorities pressured the police chief to get his wife and daughter to give up. But no matter what they said, the police chief wholeheartedly supported his wife and daughter in practicing Falun Dafa. He was dismissed from his job, and the three of them have been living in a small hut for the last three years, leading a hard life. The future of those who support Falun Dafa is bright, and this police chief is no exception.
