Italy: Falun Gong at a Health Exhibition in Bella (Photos)

From November 23 to 25, a health exhibition was held in the city of Bella, Northern Italy. Practitioners from Bella, Milan, Turin and Rome participated in the exhibition to let more people know about Falun Gong and its benefits.

The Falun Gong booth attracted many people each day. Many people were attracted by the practitioners' peaceful exercise demonstration. Even participants from other booths came and discussed Falun Gong or watched the exercise demonstrations. Some came whenever they had some spare time, and many wanted to learn Falun Gong.

One Italian businessman commented; "Falun Gong cultivates truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance, and gives people a healthy body. How good it is! The person who persecutes Falun Gong must be insane." When people learned about the cruel and degrading torture methods used on Data practitioners, those kindhearted Italians were very concerned.

There were many moving stories from those days; a businessman came to the Falun Data booth to watch the exercise demonstration every day and also watched the exercise video. He told practitioners; "It's really amazing that Falun Gong practitioners can face this persecution peacefully and rationally after suffering so much. I believe that people all over the world will be concerned about Falun Gong in the future and more people will learn Falun Gong."

During the evening of the exhibition, practitioners were given the opportunity to introduce Falun Gong by means a special one-hour introductory class. Two practitioners from Sweden and America, who are also doctors, introduced the principles of Falun Gong and the persecution by Jiang's regime, which has claimed the lives of more than 500 people in 3 years [sources revealed that Chinese government estimates put this number at more than 1,600]. Some Italian practitioners also shared their experiences of practicing Falun Gong with the people; for example, one 72-year-old lady shared the improvements she experienced in regards to her eyesight and increased energy.

Also, during the health fair, the mayor of Bella wrote to practitioners expressing his appreciation for the materials about Falun Gong that had been sent to him. He also commented, "As a member of the free and democratic western world, we are against any violation of freedom of thought, speech and actions. I believe that... respecting human rights and freedom will benefit peace and mankind's future."

The activities clarified the truth to a wide audience and we felt they had an enormous impact.
