Persecution of Dafa Practitioners by the "610 Office" in Zanhuang County, Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) The lawless officials at the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Zanhuang County tortured to death a determined Falun Dafa practitioner named Ding Gangzi. Despite their own family and friends' kind advice to stop committing crimes and despite people's grievances as well as their own consciences, these officers continued to persecute and deceive kind-hearted Dafa practitioners while violating the Chinese Constitution and human rights.

These officers have committed enormous crimes against Dafa. They forced local organizations and schools to show movies slandering Falun Dafa. They illegally sent Dafa practitioners Chen Surong, Zhao Jianhua, Xiuzi, Jianrui and Rong Guo to forced labor camps. Whenever there was a "sensitive date" (e.g. a national holiday or government meeting) approaching, they would illegally harass and arrest Dafa practitioners. For example, they climbed over the wall of Dafa practitioners Chen Yaying's and Guo Zhumei's courtyards at midnight, searched their homes and disturbed their family members and neighbors. They illegally detained Cao Xiujie and other Dafa practitioners and forced some practitioners to become homeless to avoid persecution.

On the eve of the 16^th Party Congress, these malicious officers illegally broke into Dafa practitioner Zhou Fengmei's home and abducted Zhou. On November 21, 2002, they carried guns to Dafa practitioner Chen Yaying's home and abducted Chen.

These officers' actions have seriously violated the basic human rights of residents in Zanhuang County, Hebei Province.
